Gorian walked onto shore. He knew he was on a cloud, but what he saw would make Uusha terribly confused. There were trees scattered around him and a large building in the centre. He strode through the thick grass in awe. He had not visited many places, but he knew Allegria Island had to be the most beautiful in all of Furcadia... if they were even in Furcadia.
"Be careful, Gorian," Sileia warned.
He stopped. Be careful of what? Gorian looked around but he saw no danger. He sniffed the air, but he could not smell anything besides the environment he had seen.
"Look down in front of you."
Gorian looked at his feet. Before him was a flat ring shaped platform. He stepped back and studied it. He spotted the word 'Karamel' engraved on the ring. He could not see the danger for stepping on it, but he was willing to listen to his guide. He waited until Sileia was at his side before he asked her about it.
"These are portals to dreams," Sileia explained. Gorian watched, amazed, as she continued without opening her mouth, "Whenever a furre dreams, they exist here. Sometimes they forget what they dreamt after waking. If that's the case, their dream remains on this island."
"How do you do that?"
"Do what?"
"You're talking, but your lips aren't moving."
Sileia smiled shyly, "I'm not talking. But you are hearing my voice."
Gorian laughed, "I'm sure that makes sense to you. So ... why am I allowed to visit other furre's dreams?"
"I think they can help you understand your quest more. But remember to give the furres privacy. Don't interact with them unless they are seeking you."
Gorian nodded. He did not know of any furre named Karamel, so he stepped over the platform and continued on. He spotted many more rings scattered throughout the islands. Some were littering the beach, while others were so well hidden that Gorian almost stepped into them. He spotted one by a large tree and stopped. The engraving was 'Moonlit Star'.
Gorian sharply drew in air. He braced himself, preparing for anything. He wondered if he would be welcomed; would she find his arrival intrusive? He lifted one foot and walked into the portal...
