Non-Lethal Weapons

The use of non-lethal weapons can increase the options available to any security force, even the corporate ones. With such weapons at their disposal, security teams do not have to wait for lethal provocation before they can respond.

Ares Goop Gun

The portable sticky form dispenser, or Goop Gun, is one of the classic designs brought back by Ares Arms. The gun shoots a stream of sticky foam, which is contained pressurized in a reservoir, that not only adheres to whatever it touches but also expands to three times its mass.

* The goop gun does no damage to a target. Instead, the target is slowed down and rendered immobile as more goop is applied. For every net success the attacker achieves in his/her Skill Test, the target loses 1 point of quickness. Once a target’s quickness has reached 0 he/she is immobilized. In addition guns and other mechanical objects may be gummed up.

The target only rolls combat or dodge pool dice to resist.

This weapon uses heavy pistol ranges.

Vehicle Net Gun

Williams Technologies has finally expanded its non-lethal line with the vehicle sized net gun. Perfect for cutting off access to the escape vehicle, or trapping a suspect inside. The fibrous net will envelop any vehicle that is van sized and smaller.

* Unlike its predaccessors, the vehicle net gun doesn’t really restrain the motion of a vehicle. Once entangled, the net blocks the doors and other access points on the vehicle. Should the net be used against a human sized target, the target number to escape is 12. The net has an effect radius of 4 meters, so multiple targets may be engaged.
