Dear Family,

How's everything going? Pretty good out here. Yesterday (P-Day) my comp managed to drag me back to Colonia Tova (the German village) again, which was the second time for me. But I went because it was his B-Day, and I got a cool shirt for Dad (the first souvenir for anyone so far :( ) so that was cool. But otherwise it was kind of a slow P Day, and for that I'm writing right now (Tuesday).

The work in our program is doing well. We've got 7 people (soon 6) with baptisimal dates, 3 of them an entire family (the flia Pernia). Last Sunday was kind of "one of those days" for me, but with one highlight. As a zone for this month we set a hughe goal for getting confirmed 42 people in the month of April. This is truly a high goal considering the average is about 15-17 confirmations a month. But last month we had a goal of 24 but only confirmed 21 people, and after having totaled up the goals of every companionship for this month or the first Tuesday of the month, the number came to 42, 4 of which were to come from the program of me and my comp. Well, on the last crucial Sunday wehre they had to come to be able to be confirmed in this month, the father (Hector) didn't come, which to me felt like I had let down the Zone with not being able to reach our goal but most importantly it was my Heavenly Father who was let down, because he had made manifest his pleasure with us when we set the goal of 42 by pouring out his Spirit upon us that meeting. So that was a bummer.

Please excuse me for writing so unintelligibly. If only you understood Spanish, I'd write in it! But we do have some investigators who are of gold. So we've been greatly blessed. My only fear now is that I'll be changed the 3rd of May so I won't be able to see them get confirmed. Big time bummer. Sorry for such a lame letter, and sorry if it's on a low note but I don't have much time to write but everything's going well. :)

Love, Elder Onken
