Dear Family,
How's everything doing? Things here are good. This was the first full week with Elder Mauldin and it went pretty well. I think that he feels the same basically that every missionary with his time feels, but is just more vocal about it.
This time of year for missionary work is tough. We have like 2 families in our program that are on vacation and like 3 other people that will be home in January. But last Saturday we had a baptism of two twins, daughters of a lady who is becoming active again. It was a blast teaching them. They both have 10 years and they also have the cutest little sister, Mayvi (pronounced like the english word "maybe") who's 7. Move over, Apryl!! :P j/k Baptisms are so stressing. You have to make sure that the font's filled, that there's clothes clean and sufficient, that it's on time, and it's spritual, that everything's prepared, that there are sufficient people there - argh! But it's all worth it :P
Well, a few hours ago I talked with mom. . . I suppose that Natalie wasn't too happy with me because I didn't talk with her, but I'll have talked with you all before you get this letter. Not much to say . . . hope you liked the photos. It was a pretty good roll.
Love,
Nick.
