!Epa, Chica! Hows everything going for you? Great here. As you can tell by the date its Christmas! We just opened our packages and right now its 9:30 AM. Last night was horrible, trying to sleep. You see, Christmas here is like the 4th of July in the states...music blasting in to all hours of the night, fireworks, firecrackers...it sounded like there was a shoot out going on ALL last night. Plus, there's this huge bright light RIGHT outside the window, so it's like we have out light on inside at night. So, I took advantage and read El Libro De Mormon. I love this book SOOOOO much! It's amazing just how plainly, clearly, and beautifully, and explicit its writings are and its just like reading a regular book, unlike the bible. I always find myself talking to whoever's talking in the book, as if they were talking with me.
Last night for Nochebuena all 4 of us went to the house of one of our investigators to eat. The mission president wanted every missionary to be in a house at 6 and wasn't able to leave unless they were going to the apartment, where we had to be at 9:30. So we ate (I got bloated) and everything and then we came back to the house and now here I am! It's wierd thinking that I'm going to be talking with you guys in about 4 hours! I hope mom and dad won't be out shopping again! =0P
So tell me about school! Your classes, boyfriends, desires, dreams, fears, everything! I've been blessed in that I don't get trunky hardly at all so don't be afraid of that. I hear Kevin wants to go to USU too! How cool would that be? How's Bad Mojo going? Send me pics of you guys playing.
Well, I plan on writing a bunch of people so I'm outtie, but I just want to end by telling you that I love you! I'm so thankful for this opportunity that I have to serve a mission for my God and my Lord Christ. Being able to teach people the truths about this restored Gospel is amazing! I've also been learning so much about repentance; about the peace and freedom from guilt that we receive. It's truly a miracle!
Well, I love you and pray for you every day! I know I'm not supposed to think about these things but will you please send Apryl the message and let her know that I think about her everyday. I hope she is doing well. I love you!
