Dear Family,
Well, not much to say other than that everything's going great. A little slow and there's lots of improvements, that is, room for improvement. I hate English, right now! So confusing :P News . . . not much. The Pernia family is doing great, and we've got another great family with whom we're sharing. They've got lots of potential. Yesterday was stake conference. The visiting authority was Horacio Araga, an area 70. Elder Christopher's doing well, definitely learning a lot. He had to give a talk in church on Mother's Day, and did excellently. This has really been a huge learning experience for me, too. I'm finding myself "bargaining my 5 talents," as we put it between us two. We figure that we've been given tons of talents, and we can either: (1) risk some to get an okay blessing, (2) bury it, to have it taken away, or (3) risk it all and see the many blessings.
We just got the March 2001 Ensign and I loved the article by Jeffery R. Holland about the Atonement and Missionary work. It truly is the goal for us as missionaries: to help people come unto Christ by getting faith in him, repenting, getting baptized, and then receiving the Gift of the Holy Ghost. The mission's really given me a chance to see that Jesus Christ really is my personal Savior. I know because I've felt it, so it's true. I love you guys!
