Natalie,

Whassup girlie. How're things at Utah? In life? In COLLEGE?! College...wow...people get MARRIED in college! Holy Hannah! ...So...what classes do you have? Do you like them? How're your profs? What's college life like? Tell me about your roommate! Now you kind of know 1/900,000,000 of what its like to have a companion.:-) Speaking of which I just got a new one, Elder Lindgnen from Draper, Utah. He reminds me a lot like Taylor Olsen.

Hey, I just thought of this...I bet you'll get the mail faster than the rest of the family! HA!:-) How's it like living around those "Mormons" all the time? You should pretend like you're not a member. Well, still you should obey all the rules !Claro! but...I dunno. Nevermind:-) It'd be funny having friends trying to convert you!

Well, news from the mission. Right now I'm in Puerto Cabello, the largest port in South America (so I've been told). Its REALLY HOT. Were doing lots of walking but we've already set 2 baptisimal dates in 3 days here and another sure one we should get tomorrow. I love this work SO much. I LOVE feeling the spirit and reading the scriptures. I LOVE seeing people's testimonies grow. I love speaking spanish. I love it ALL. For me, teaching the gospel-these truths- means more and more people will be touched by the spirit, know the truths of the plan of salvation, understand the importance of the atonement gain a real relationship with Christ and then repent and do all the other necessary ordinances and then the suffering, the humiliation, the agony, the death, the resurrection, the LIFE of Christ wasn't in vain.

Mosiah 16:5 "...he that remaineth in his fallen state is as though there was no redemption made..." Unless we conquer this fallen state (through repentance) it's as though what Christ did for us was for nothing and this is the last thing I want so here I am on the mission. Knowing the exact truths of Christ are being taught is so comforting

I have to go prostelyting now but I love you and know that I pray for you every single day. Be courageous and valiant! Kick Satan's putooties. I love you!

Your Big Brother,

Nick
