Dear Family,

How's everything out there? Things here are pretty good, but pretty slow. August was my second month in Venezuela without any baptisms, and so far in our program there's not a ton of potential. This looks like a job for more obedience, more humility, more prayers, and more effort. I'm finally getting a hang of my area. There are changes this Thursday. Elder Draper is probably out of here (BTW, yesterday, he met the 4th person baptized in Venezuela, a little old lady who's WAY active) because he's got 6 months here. Elder Castillo also might go, he's got 4-1/2 months here.

Well, I don't know much to write. We got letters 2 days ago because Nelwin (one of Elder Norton's converts when he was here a year ago) went to the office and got our mail, and there wasn't a letter from the family.

Not much happened this week . . . or nothing you want to hear about . . .

Well, that's it. Love you. Chao!

Nick
