Shipper Section
-
I find it hard to believe that anyone would doubt Eldershipping.  It's so obvious!  These two are constantly seen together and have no excuse, not that they need one around the not-so-bright Ash.  "But ew," some of you might say, "he's so much older than she is!"  Well, if you think that...  why exactly are you on a page specifically built for Eldershipping?  Get outta here!

Now that the disbelievers are gone, we can start with the real shippiness.

First of all, the theories.  How did Mrs. Ketchum and the professor get together in the first place, and how long has it been going on?  What exactly happened to Mr. Ketchum?  Could it be possible that Professor Samuel Oak himself is the biological father of Ash Ketchum?  (For more on that, see the Father section.)  There must be several different conspiracy theories on this

topic.  If you have a good one, send it to me at rocket_giovanna@yahoo.com.  Those theories will be listed here to make this section more interesting.

Proof

Whenever either of these characters appear in an episode, they always appear together.  For example, remember the time Ash called Professor Oak and his mother just happened to be there?  They couldn't have been expecting Ash to call, and it couldn't have been just a coincidence, so what other reason is there?  Of course, all the that the dense little Pokemon trainer could say was, "Mom, what are you doing there?"

Another example is the formerly banned episode, "Holiday in Acupulco," later released in America as "Beauty and the Beach," minus the controversial bikini scenes involving James.  In that episode, Ash is surprised to find that his mother and his mentor are also at the beach.    In the dub, though, we lost some wonderful pieces of dialogue:
Mrs. Ketchum: Ash, long time no see!
Ash: Momma?! Why are you here?
Professor Oak: I’ll explain later. Look here.

He then showed Ash the ad for the swimsuit contest that Delia won.  I wonder if Ash noticed that Oak changed the subject just a little too fast?  And did he ever get a reason for his mother and Professor Oak being there?  Actually, he did:
Mrs. Ketchum: In case you’re wondering, Professor Oak and I are here on vacation.

And the boy never suspected a thing.

Some more evidence is available in the Father section to prove that not only have Delia and Samuel been hiding their relationship, but they've also been hiding the truth about Ash's parentage!

Pokemon Live!

Have you heard about Pokemon Live, a musical that's been on tour all over the US since last summer?  It features actors playing all the Pokemon characters, complete with scary oversized Pikachus and everything.  Nothing hints at shippiness more than Pokemon Live!  The musical begins with Samuel and Delia trying to convince their son (hehe) to attend a lecture on Snorlaxes.  Ash insists that he'll be fine on his own and tells Prof. Oak and his mother to go along without him.  With a wink to Professor Oak, he adds, "Don't keep my mom out too late."

A very embarrassed Samuel Oak stammers, "Ash, I'm not....  we're not....  I didn't.....  This is a serious lecture!"  *Evil grin*  I never thought I'd say this, but...  way to go, Ash.

Oak and Delia never do make it to the lecture, though.  After singing their duet, "Everything Changes," they're kidnapped by Team Rocket and swung from cages suspended from helicopters all the way to Giovanni's headquarters.  "No matter what, Delia, I won't let Giovanni hurt you!" the professor vows shippily.  Of course, Team Rocket is defeated and the good guys win again.
