I am a sculptor using beads and fibers for my materials. I have a great studio that you are welcome to visit. It's an old grocery store, painted pink with a tin ceiling and worn, wood floors.I live in a pretty neat town too. Eureka Springs is in the northwest corner of Arkansas. Its one of those small art towns where everyone has a different opinion and their own taste. It's in the Ozark Mountains in a spot where the hills are so steep, no one in their right mind would build a town there. We're surrounded by springs, rivers and lakes.
I travel alot taking my bead studio with me and frequently teach bead classes.
My next class out of town will be in Telluride,Co. I'm teaching At the AhHaa school with RuAnn Ewing. We have 2 adult classes for the week for July 12th. One is embroidering a journal with beads. We'll be learning alot about design and and using beads in our designing and putting our thoughts, memories, drawings and pictures in a journal.The other class is covering a wooden bead with brick stitch and we'll be talking alot about design here also.
