CRASH LANDING

THE MOON

The strangers were gone now. The young girl watched as an Ice ship picked up their damaged vessel, and took the passengers home. The moon was safe once again.

The young girl, with eyes like fire and skin like ice, went up to her father, "Do you think we will ever be able to live with them?" she asked.

He shook his head, "I do not know, Alana. The four planets banished our grandparents to this moon for wishing to ally with one another. Our Alliance was a failure..." he ran a hand through the flames atop his head, "We would be smart not to test our luck... or else all the inhabitants on our moon will be considered outcasts forever…"

An Ice woman came up to him and held his arm, "Listen to your father, Alana… to reveal ourselves to them would have been a drastic mistake. They could never accept Fire, Ice, Rock, and Bone allying. After all, there are only one-thousand of us on this moon. We could never defend ourselves should they chose to take exception to our existence…"

"But mother…" the girl began. "Perhaps things have changed?? The Ice and Fire creatures seemed to be on peaceful terms and…"

"I am sorry, my child.. but the less who know of us the better. It is safer that way…"

The girl nodded, "Yes mother, father. I understand.."

ICE SHIP AURORA

Pyrus looked out the Ice ship window as the moon disappeared from view, "Man, I wish I could have found out who lived on that moon…"

"It would be interesting. I would like to know what Ice creature would have the power of Fire…!" Zera replied as she came up behind him. She joined him in staring out the window.

"I'll tell you what…! As soon as we beat the Beast, you and me will take my shuttle and go check it out!" he replied.

"We will take an Ice ship.. it'll be faster!" Zera started.

"What?? No way!! Fire ships could out race Ice ships any day!" Pyrus replied.

Zera let out a small laugh, "Oh, you think so, lava head?! Well, I am faster then you! So it only makes sense that my ships would be too!"

"I bet you couldn't beat me in a race!!" Pyrus replied.

"Oh really?! Well I say we test that theory!!" Zera snapped back.

"Let's go!!" he said, and ran off.

"HEY!! Cheater!!" Zera replied, and ran after him.

Jade almost fell over when the two teens ran by her. She looked at Graveheart and a newly recovered King Cryos, "Well.. looks like things are back to normal…"

"Unfortunately…" Cryos answered.
