Ray Tracer is a web surfer. He joins the show in the middle of season 3 when AndrAIa and Matrix stumble upon him on their journeys.
At first, Ray shows an interest in AndrAIa, but after Matrix's constant threats, Ray gives up.
Ray knows his way around the Web very well. He is a next generation Search Engine and can shield himself with an extra skin when travelling in the web. He is also rather attached to his surfboard. Or more like he IS his surfboard.
Shortly after he meets Bob, Matrix, and AndrAIa, he comes to Mainframe. Immediately, Ray and Mouse hit it off.
