The days passed into weeks, the weeks into months, until finally
Serenity had been there for 6 months. Life was sweet, Serenity
really felt whole with her husband, although she didn't know his
name or what he looked like. They had an understanding. He told
her that all would be revealed when the time came. Serenity still
wondered when the time would come. It seemed as if she would have
to be there forever.
One day while Serenity and Merc were sitting in the lounge, there
came a knock at the door. When they opened the door, there in
front of them was a young woman around their age looking at
Serenity intently. Merc gave a gasp, but quieted down after
Serenity gave her a curious look. Merc shook her head to say that
she couldn't say why she had gasped...but Serenity didn't notice.
(duh!)
(that would be funny, considering that Serenity couldn't see Merc)
The young woman was beautiful, she had long black hair, with a tinge
of red in it, her eyes were violet. Her attire was all in red, but
in different tones of course. Running towards them was another
woman.
She was yelling something at the first stranger.
"Hey, I told you to wait for me!! I said that I wanted to see her
too!" This woman had reddish brown hair and red eyes. Her hair
came about half-way to her hip and was a bit unruly. When she
finally joined them at the doorway the first woman introduced
herself.
"I am called... Mars..... ... ...that's short for Marsha." Serenity
knew that this could not have been her real name for she had paused
both times, with the same atmosphere of precaution that Merc seemed
to have. And if Serenity had been able to see Merc then, she knew
that this would have been the same look that would have been given
her.
"I'm A...Gin...Galax...." Serenity cursed in her mind, almost....
almost...this one almost slipped and told her her true identity...
They shook hands and Galax shook the hardest, she seemed too
excited.
Merc and Serenity showed them into the lounge where they had been
earlier. Mars and Galax to a seat across from Serenity. Merc
excused herself and said that a servant would be back with some
snacks and tea.
"So, Serenity, you are married to HIM..." Mars said. Serenity wished
that someone would tell her who HE was.
"Yes, HIM, how is HE now?" Galax asked, still a bit excited.
"That is correct, I'm married to him, whoever HE maybe. He seems
to be very loving and caring. He comforts me everynight. But I
can't help but wonder who HE is and what he may look like."
Serenity gazed out the window and looked back at her guests.
"You mean you've never seen him, he's never revealed himself to you?!"
They said at the same time, Endymion, really....he should have told
her. Well, that just means that we have a chance with him
still....both thought at the same time.
"Poor you....if you had known....you wouldn't stay here." Mars
told Serenity. "You don't even know what he looks like. How do
you know that he's not a monster? He could be. If he hasn't
told you his name then does he trust you, or rather, how can you
trust him?" Very tactful, just like her father. Trying to play
along Galax said,
"Yeah...yeah....YEAH!!!!"
*sweatdrop*
"He could be a fire breathing
dragon, or a cyclops, no...he has to have wings...umm....a pegasus,
wait that's too good, and you'd know if he had hooves, ummmm...."
"GALAX...stop it!!! You're making Princess Serenity
nervous...and not because of her husband, it's you, so calm
down...better yet, why don't we leave. We've probably upset you
princess, we should leave. I'm, we're terribly sorry." Mars and
Galax left, both smiling.
After they left, Merc came back. "Oh, I'm so sorry Serenity. Mars
is one of my friends, but so are you...I wish that she hadn't done
that....it's just that....oh nevermind, why don't we have some ice
water?" Serenity nodded, her face a bit pale, those two really
had it out with her. She didn't know what to do....what if they
were right? What was Merc getting at anyway, just what?
&~&~&~&~&~THAT NIGHT&~&~&~&~&~
This time Endymion was late, he had to go to one of those arranged
marriages and make the two fall in love, unfortunately, the two
were avoiding each other, which made it very difficult. It all
ended when he found them sitting with their backs to each other
in the garden. Serenity wasn't in the room when he entered so
he guessed she must have just gone for a snack or was talking to
Merc. He went to sleep soon after he landed in the room.
While he slept, Serenity quietly walked back into the room with her
candle. All the questions since the first time she had come were
surrounding her, added with the curiousity and fear from Galax and
Mars. She brought the candle closer and closer to her husband's
sleeping form. As she was about a foot away from him, he stirred,
Endymion turned over and his face was shown to Serenity once and
for all. She gasped and the wax from the candle dripped from the
stick and landed on Darien's nose.
(AN: try to picture that happening to Chibi-Endymion...
aww...don't you think that would be cute? The wax...awww...)
He woke up with a start. Stretching his magnificent wings.
"Sere....Serenity....my love!!!! What have you done!!! If only you
had waited one more day!!! You would have known it was me.....all
is lost now....I'm sorry my love....now that this has happened I
must leave. I can't stay here, you have broken my heart and we may
never see each other again if you can not...." He flew out of the
window without finishing his sentence.
Serenity was broken-hearted. It was all her fault. If only
she had waited one more day, instead of listening to Galax and Mars.
She would have known that her husband was Endymion, son of Mina. Oh,
fate was cruel. The one person who hated her most, Mina....Mina's son
he loved his mother's enemy....that must have ben real love in his
eyes....he must have thought that she had betrayed him.
Her first, and only love was gone, and she was sure
that as he had left, so would the castle and her friend Merc. All she
had left to do now was sleep. She climbed into the cold bed and
shivered. It was really lonesome now. Her feeling of safety and love
was gone, she would never see her beloved again, softly she cried
herself to sleep and dreamt of times with him, the romance that he
had showed her, the love that she felt from him and for him...the
love of her life....Endymion.

Hey minna-chan!!! I'm actually finished writing part 3!!! I'm
getting closer and closer to finishing AMFC and Endymion Shoots....
and Misses now. Not that many chapters left for either one. The
next chapter may be the last one for this story.....
Minna-chan: PLEASE....let it be the last chapter....PLEASE!!!
Cay-chan: Does that mean that you want me to finish the story,
or is it because you don't want to hear any more?
