Hello again! I finally finished a fanfic, '3 Ancient Romances'. However I
never can work on just ONE fanfic. I got lots of e-mail asking for more
focus on Serena and Darien, and since I really like writing about the
Moon Kingdom I thought 'Hey why not write one about Darien and Serena?'
Oh, and Endymion(Darien), Serenity( Serena), and the scouts are all 18
yrs. old. It's just sort of wierd having endymion(Darien) about 6 yrs.
older than Serena. Also Zoicite and Kunzite are not attracted in anyway
to each other.

HERE'S the fanfic!!


				HAPPILY EVER AFTER?

Princess Serenity was in her chamber looking out of the windows when she
heard a knock on her door.
	" Who is it?" she called.
	" It's your mother, may  I come in?" her mothers voice answered.
	" Yes, come in," Princess Serenity answered. She turned away from
the window as her mother opened the door and came in.
	" Sit down Serenity," the Queen told her daughter. Serenity sat,
and her mother sat down also.  " I came to talk to you."
	" What about?" Princess Serenity asked uneasily. Her mother's
tone suggested that she might not like what she would hear.
	" You are eighteen now, " Queen Serenity said. "This is the age
when you must marry."
	 The Princess groaned, but her mother gave her a look that made
her quite again.
	 " It is tradition that I pick a husband for you." the Queen
continued." I have chosen Prince Endymion of Earth. I talked to Queen
Alexis and King Brian to make my desicion and we all agreed that this
marrige would cement our alliance." Queen Serenity stopped to allow her
daughter to voice her opinion.
	"You want me to get married to someone so that  the Moon and
Earth will have a better relationship?" Princess Serenity asked.
	" Yes," Queen Serenity answered.
	" Mother! I don't even know him I haven't even _met_ him, whoever
Prince Endymion is," Princess Serenity exclaimed, she then sat there and
pouted.
	" Serenity don't pout. Prince Endymion is the future ruler of
Earth and you _have_ met him,  although you were probably too young to
remember." her mother answered.
	Serenity stopped pouting, but she still wasn't happy and her
mother knew it.
	" Please just give this a chance. The Earth and the Moon are the
most powerful Kingdoms in this solar system and we need to be on good
terms. We have had good relations with the Earht before, and need to
ensure their allience, as they need to ensure ours." The elder Serenity
decided to leave her daughter to think this over. She walked back to the
throne room and called for Sailor Venus. When she arived Queen Serenity
requested that Venus go talk to the Princess. Venus did and left the
Queen to her thoughts. ' I know that Serenity doesn't want ot do this,
but I think that she and Endymion will get along well. He's much like
her, no doubt rebelign at this very moment.'

Three Days later Queen Alexis sent a messanger to the Moon asking Queen
Serenity whe nthey could arange for their children to meet. Queen
Serenity replied that there could be a formal meeting the next afternoon
since King Brian already had planned to visit on buisness. Queen Alexis
responded that that would be fine. Princess Serenity however, din't like
the news.
	" I don't want to meet him!" She said and lay down on her bed
instead of getting dressed,
	" Serenity, meeting Prince Endymion is _not_ an option. If you
aren't up in fifteen minutes I going to send Sailor Venus to get you up.
Oh, and Serenity, even if you don't want to meet Prince Endymion you must
still be kind to him and his parents." her mother left leaving Serenity
to get dressed. Serenity just lay there hoping her mother would see how
mad she was, but instead Venus showed up and dragged Serenity up to get
her dressed. After the Princess was in her pearl coloered gown, Venus
asked serenity how she felt about this.
	" I just don't understand why I have to marry him," Serenity
said, she looked at her reflection in the mirror above her dresser and
held still so that Venus could Put her hair into the odango style that
she _had_to wear.
	" I know you don't like this, but I've heard that he's very
nice," Venus offered her friend this piece of information. ' And that's
not all I've heard,' Venus thought.
	" I know, thank you Mina," Serenity said softly, calling Venus by
her real name. The scouts were hardly ever refered to by their true
names, for security purposes.  Serenity walked away from the mirror and
Venus followed her down the stairs. They walked to a room near the front
doors of the palace where Queen Serenity and the rest of the senshi
waited for the visiting royalty to arrive. The senshi were all wearing
their Senshi uniforms, and there were many other gards there, including
the Elder Senshi, the Queen's gaurds. Even though all of the planets
lived in relative peace.
	" Sailor Venus," queen Serenity spoke, "The King and Queen of
Earth have their own generals with them to protect them but Prince
Endymion's gaurds could not come, they were needed to mantain order on
Earth. I would like you to have SailorsMercury and Mars protecting the
Prince, the rest of you will of course be protecting the Princess." Venus
nodded and gave the orders.Mercury and MArs separated form the group.
Trumpets announed the arival of the Earth royalty and in came the King
adn Queen, Their gaurds and Prince Endymion followed by four men in
generals uniforms. ' The Generals must have come after all,' queen
Serenity thought and nodded for Venus to have the three senshi step back
into place.
	" Queen Alexis, King Brian, Prince Endymion I am glad to have you
here," Queen Serenity greeted them. King Brian and Queen Alexis thanked
her for having them. The whole greeting was rather formal, even thought
Queen Alexis and Queen Serenity were _very_ close(best friends).
	" This is my daughter, Princess Serenity, " the queen said. The
Princess stepped forward.
	" I am pleased to meet you," she said formaly, then she curtsied
gracefully.
	" And this is our son, Prince Endymion," King Brian said.
Endymion stepped forward and bowed. He said pretty much what Serenity
had, with the same formal tone. Then Queen Serenity showed them to their
rooms.
	" And Generals, please feel free to us the training grounds of
the Senshi, we will provide gaurds for the King, Queen and Prince if you
wish to use them," The Queen spoke mostly to the younger Generals.
	" Thank you, Queen Serenity," General Kunzite said. "I think that
we should probably go train some now."
	" Alright, " she replied and gave the orders to have some of the
top gaurds take their place. "We will be having a meeting of the Court,
you are not required to attend."
	" My Queen, we also need to train, should we wait until after
Court or is this just a matter for the King, Queen and Prince of Earth as
well as yourselves?" Venus asked.
	" It's alright, Sailor Venus, you may train, the Elder Senshi
will be with us," Queen Serenit gave the senshi her permission to train.
Then the Elder Generals and Senshi went with their leaders to the throne
room.  The younger Generals and Senshi went to the training grounds.

Venus arrived to the training grounds at about the same time as Kunzite,
after the other Generals and Senshi had arrived. They had both needed to
be given some last minute instructions. When Venus open the doors to the
field, she found a disaster waiting to happen. The Senshi where sizing up
the generals, but Mars had already gotten herself into a fight wit hon of
them.
	" I do _not_ have a loud mouth!" Venus heard Mars telling the
general. As she went out onto the field she gathered that the whole thing
had been started when Mars had said to the other Senshi, a bit _too_
loudly, that she couldn't believe Queen Serenity had given the Generals
permission ot use ' thier' training grounds. Apparently one of the
Prince's gaurds had a temper to match Mars's and the two had gotten into
a heated argument.
	" MARS!" Venus called at the same time that Kunzite called
"JAEDITE!" the two stopped arguing and trned to their leaders.
	" We are not going ot argu with these men," Venus told her.
	" Same for you Jaedite," Kunzite said coming to stand near Venus.
	" But-" Mars tried ot speak, but Venus cut her off.
	" No 'buts' Mars, these men are _not_ our enimies and we are
going to get along," Venus replied in a firm voice.
	" Kunzite-" Jaedite tried, but he too got no where.
	" Jaedite," Kunzite said in warning voice. Mars and Jaedite shoot
each other  _looks_ and returned to their friends. Venus and Kunzite
decided on how they would divide up the field and they started training.

Prince Endymion glanced around the room. His parents were discussing
matters of alliance with Queen Serenity and he was bored. He glanced at
the Princess, she was sitting up straight in her seat, but looked bored
also. ' I wish I didn't have to marry her,' endymion thouhgt ' She seemed
_very_ formal in the greeting chamber, _too_ formal for me.' As if
reading his mind Queen Serenity suggested that he and the Princess tour
the palace as they were not needed in court. Princess Serenity got up and
he followed her out.
	" I suppose you would like to see the palace?" Princess serenity
asked formaly while she thought  ' I _don't _ want to show you the
palace!'
	" That would be fine," the Prince answered in an expresionless
tone. ' You are _way_ too formal!' Serenity thought, but she lead the
way, naming the rooms as they passed them. Endymion wasn't paying
attention, until he heard her saying,
	" And that door leads to the rose gardens," As the passed alarge
door.
	" Princess Serenity, might we go in?" he asked, wanting to see
what lunar roses looked like.
	" Of course," Serenity replied, after a moments shock. He hadn't
spoken to her at all until now and there was some excitment in his voice
at the mention of the lunar rose gardens. Serenity requested entrance to
the gardens by the gards at the door, they were her mother's personal
gardens. As the doors opened Endymion was greeted by the sweet sent of
roses, but as he looked at the flowers he saw that they were all silver.
He walked onto one of the paths and looked at the flowers more closley
and saw that they had no thorns on them.
	" How odd," he murmered. Serenity heard him and went to look at
the flower he was examining, hoping nothing was wrong with it, for her
mother loved the roses, as did she.
	" Is something wrong?" Serenity asked, formality still in her
voice.
	"No, it's just these don't look anything like roses," Endymion
told her.
	" What!?" Serenity asked, taking his comment as an insult.
	" Roses on Earth are red, and sometimes yello, and they have
thorns on them, see?" he told her and produced a red rose from the pocket
of his suit, he always had rose on him. Serenity looked at the flower he
held in his hand curiosly.
	" That's not a rose," she announced after looking at it. Endymion
chuckled at this.
	" Of course it is, smell it, " his voice lost some of it's formal
tone. She did as he instucted and surprise crossed her face. "See?" he
said.
	" It smells like a rose, but it doesn't look like one," Serenity
said stubornly.
	" Well, these don't either," Endymion said motioning to the
silver flowers, " but they are."
Serenity looked at the flower again.
	"Well, maybe it is a rose, but what are those spikes on it's
stem?" she asked.
	" Thorns," Endymino answered.
 Serenity then made the mistake  of touching on of the thorns. She yelped
in surprise and pulled back her hand to examine her wound.
	"It priked me!" she cried indignatly.
 She looked so funny, staring at the flower in a disgusted manner that
Endymion had to laugh.
	"What's so funny?" Serenity demanded.
	"You," Endymion answered as he struggled to controll his
laughter. "I thought you knew that thorns would hurt you."
	" No, I didn't. None of our flowers hurt people, so why should I
think that yours do?" she said, then she went back to examining her
wound.
	" Here," Endymion said.
He took her hand and found the finger which she had pricked. Endymion
removed a bandage from his pocket and wraped it around her slim finger.
	" Thank you," Serenity said, almost shyly.
' He's not _quite_ as bad as I thought, but i still don't know,' she
thought. Endymion put the rose back in his pocket and they continued
through the gardens in silence.
