Happily Ever After?
Chapter 5
Venus was walking outside after dinner. She had been surprised by the
desicion Queen Serenity and Queen Alexis had come too, but then she had
started to catch on, after talking to the Elder Venus. But however
understanding she was of the "desicion" she was very angry with Mars and
Jaedite. The two were so much like each other that they constantly
fought. MArs was stuborn, and so was Jaedite, but Jaedite had to be
better than Mars, and Mars better than Jaedite. Venus had gotten fed up
with their constant fighting, so she blew up, and it might have worked.
All through dinner the two hadn't spoken, but hadn't glared at each other
either. She had walked to a clearing on the palace grounds where a fence
circled an old pasture. She climbed up onto the wooden fence and sat down
to think.

Serenity was back in her chamber after the "court meeting" her mother had
called. Serenity recalled the way Endymion had looked during the meeting,
he had looked shocked, but other than that his face had been blank, bot a
single expression crossed his face. Serenity remebered what her mother
had said, "We will announce the break off of the engagment in a week,"
not have Endymion here? Endymion who had laughed when she had pricked her
finger, who had helped her up off of the floor numerous times, had made
her laugh? He would no longer be a part of her life? Serenity sat facing
the window, she saw a shooting star streak across the night sky, and she
uttered a wish. Her lips did not move, her mind did not think the words,
but her heart and her soul practically screamed that wish with all of
thier might, for a wish made by the heart and soul are the wishes that
last.

Endymion was staring out of his window, too, that night. He was also less
than pleased with the desicion reached by the Queens. Serenity had made
him laugh, he had never been bored around her, she was always getting
into mischeif or trouble. And now he might not be able to have that? To
have that laughter, that smile, those beautiful blue eyes? To think that
another man would get to hear Serenity laugh and see her smile at him was
unbearable. Endymion, too, saw the shooting star that night, and his
heart and soul made a wish, but his mind made a desicion. Endymion walked
out of his chambers and walked strait to Venus's room.

Kunzite had trouble sleeping that night, so he was walking in the halls
when he saw his prince almost run strait into Venus's chamber. 'What's he
up to now?' Kunzite asked himself, he walked down the hall after
endymion.
* * *
Venus heard a knock at her door. ' Who could that be?' she wondered.
Opening the door reveiled Prince Endymion.
"PRince Endymio-" Venus started, but the Prince cut her off.
"Venus, I need your help, is my mother still up?" Endymion asked
her.
"As far as I know." Venus replied.
"Thank you." Endymion barly got the words out before he was out
of the door and down the hall.
'Now where could he be going?' Venus asked silently.

Endymion ran into his mother's room.
"Endymion, dear, what's wrong?" Queen Alexis asked.
"Mother, please, don't call off the engagment yet." Endymion said
quietly.
"Why?"
"Because.....I love Serenity."
* * *
Endymion quietly stood outside of Serenity's door, he took a deep breath
and knocked.
"Who is it?" Serenity called from inside.
"It's Endymion." Endymion replied.
"Come in."
Endymion opened the door and walked in. Serenity was sitting at her desk
getting ready to take her hair down.
"Serenity, may I ask you a question?" Endymion asked.
"You know you can." Serenity answered, she turned to face him.
"Do you ............do you want the engagment to broken off?
Truthfully?" Endymion asked.
Serenity thought a moment.
"No."
Endymion looked up at her from where he had sat down on the cornner of
her bed.
"what?"Endymion asked her, his heart pounding as he asked.
"No, I don't want the engagment to be broken off." Serenity said.
"Do you?"
Endymion smiled at her.
"Serenity, I love you." Endymion said.
Serenity looked at him, then she leaned forward and kissed him lightly.
Endymion stood up, taking her hand and pulling her up with him.
"Serenity, will you marry me?" Endymion asked her.
"Yes." was the answer.
Endymion bent his head and kissed her then, the kiss he had always wanted
to give her.
"I love you Endymion."

The whole kingdom had turned out to see the marraige of Princess Serenity
to Prince Endymion. The ceremnoy was held in the church of the palace.
The church was beautiful, and now it was decorated with white flowers.
Serenity had chosen her senshi to be her brides maids. She could see
Endymion up at the front of teh church, in a tuxedo. The music started
and her brides maids came out, each wearing a gown of the color of their
planets. Soon only Serenity was left, she walked down the isle, her gown
was of the whitest satin you ever saw. She slowly made her way to the
front of teh church where her future husband waited for her. ' My wish
came true', she thought to herself right before she joined Endymion at
the alter.

I know this was really short, but this was all there was left to write.
