Clothing: On Vehemens Cherie always wore her servants uniform. The servants uniform for Marielle Palace was a dark green skirt that reached the floor, a gray top, and a white apron. When she wasn't wearing that she didn't have much else to wear. Her family worked as servants and didn't have a lot of money. She mostly wore her older sister's hand-me-downs.
On Otium she has nicer things. She wears a lot of pinks and purples since those are her favorite colors. She doesn't like to reveal herself too much so her clothing never has a low neck line or reveals her belly. She won't wear skirts that are too short or shorts. Capris are fine. Her favorite item on Otium is her light pink sneakers. She loves them. One of her permeant accessories is her henshin bracelet that has her henshin bell on it.
Other: She has pale skin. Its a pretty cream color.
Overall Appearance: She's pretty but doesn't think of herself as being so. She's not attracted to men so doesn't care if they are attracted to her. She doesn't like to flirt and most guys find her unappealing. They also don't like her childish personality.
Personality: Cherie is very childish. She makes it seem like she has a childish mind and thinks about things at the level of a 10 year old. She'd actually smarter then that but most of her fake personality comes from her wanting to rebel against her parents who want her to "grow up."
Cherie is a bundle of energy. She loves to play and sometimes has trouble focusing. On the brighter side she doesn't seem to ever run out of energy. She can keep going for hours. If she's tired she won't show it. It's hard to tell if it's a physical thing or a mental thing. She likes to chatter about things. She just kinda likes to talk and will talk about anything. If there's a bad person to give a secret too it's Cherie. She doesn't think about what she's saying before she says it and will often blurt things out that she didn't mean too. She does however keep the secret of her being a senshi to herself.
Cherie isn't interested in men. She's more interested in woman and especially in Princess Alana Dasan or Sailor Fortuna the leader of the Fortis senshi. But Alana is also a source of pain for Cherie. She loves her with all her heart but Alana will never love her back, not in the way Cherie wants her too. She will never be a boy and someone Alana could love and she'll never be as close to Alana as Alana's sister.
To hide her pain Cherie likes to call Alana her "True love" as if she were joking. She's unsure if Alana thinks she's joking or knows about her feelings for real. Cherie likes to hug Alana and act like a younger sister as much as she can. She always goes to Alana before she'll go to anyone else. Whether any of the other senshi know that she is gay she doesn't know. She's not interested in boys and she won't talk openly about crushes on women.
Cherie loves her family and home a lot. It was very hard for her to leave them, but she followed Sailor Fortuna and the other Fortis senshi into Otium because she knew she had to. Once there she proclaimed herself as a foreign exchange student and was taken in by a family in the town of Idania. She's pretty good at keeping this charade because in Marielle, the country where she's from, the common language was a variation of French.
Cherie has a childish giggly voice with a hint of a French accent. The people she's staying with have one daughter name Leana who is Cherie's age. Cherie likes Leana, but doesn't really love her like she loves Alana.
Cherie is an awesome poet. She has a natural ability to write poems and most are very beautiful. Unfortunately Alana is the topic of most of her poems so she won't share them with other Fortis. She will share them with people who don't know Alana/Oriana because they think Cherie is talking about a boy (with pink hair).
Sometimes Cherie becomes so wrapped up in her childish mind that she can't hear things people say. She's often unreachable and people don't like that. She's not a crybaby. Even though she acts like a little kid she will never cry like one. She'll only cry alone when no one is around and most of the time it's about Alana.
She likes being a sailor senshi. Its fun but she has trouble balancing it with her real life. Its nice because she gets to be closer to Alana too. She'll protect Alana with her life, but she might not do the same thing for others. The other Fortis senshi regard her as childish but some like to treat her like a younger sister.
Cherie is very good at cooking and cleaning. She'll gladly offer to help someone clean or cook. Since was a servant she'd got the whole thing down to a science. She could clean a room faster then anyone else in the whole world, at least that's what she says.
Strengths: Ball of energy, fast, doesn't lose her temper easily, and can clean a room really fast.
Weaknesses: Childish, sometimes doesn't hear things others say (for no reason of her own, it just kinda happens), isn't very happy inside and often wants to cry but won't in front of others, sometimes the acting like a kid thing can get old.
Likes: Princess Alana (she can find her in any crowd), good food, her henshin bell bracelet, and pink and purple things.
Dislikes: Pravus, not having Alana love her, and having to leave her comfortable home in Marielle.
Hobbies: Cleaning, cooking, playing little kids games, and chattering about nothing inperticular.

Grades: She's mostly gets B's and C's, she'd do better but she's not from Otium. She'd very good at studying though, she has one of those memories where once she learns something she doesn't forget it.
School Status: People like Cherie because she supposedly comes from another country. So she's able to draw people to herself. Somepeople like Cherie's childish personality, others don't. She'd kinda in the middle of popular and unpopular.
Love life: She loves girls instead of guys. She really loves Alana/Oriana.
Home: A villa on the beach in Idania. She lives with an exchange family.
Family: Caprice - Cherie's older sister who Cherie loves. Her sister is also a servant in the Marielle Palace. They two share the same quarters, or did before the Pravus came to Marielle. Caprice doesn't know what happened to Cherie afterwards but she knows she isn't dead like her parents think. When Cherie came to Otium and found that she needed a last name she took her sister's. Caprice has light purple hair that that is always worn down. It reaches her lower back.
Cathline - Cherie's mother. Cathline worked as a servant of the Marielle palace for only a few years before she met Catheos and had two children. She loves Caprice and Cherie with all her heart and when Cherie didn't show up after the Pravus attack she was very upset to know that the life of her youngest child had been taken. Cathline has light purple hair but it's starting to turn silver with age. She has wrinkles that are starting to form on her face and soft blue eyes. Cherie loved her mother and was upset that she had to leave her, even if it was for the best.
Catheos - Cherie's father. He's an old man now but he still works as a servant in the Marielle Palace. Unlike his wife and daughters, Catheos doesn't speak a word of English. That doesn't bother him because no one really speaks it that often. He wanted Cherie to get married to a young kitchen boy. When she said she was too young he told her that she needed to grow up and stormed away. That sparked a change in Cherie where she decided she wanted to stay "grown down" forever and changed her personality. When she was thought dead Catheos wasn't as concerned as the rest of his family since Cherie and him had grown so far apart.
Friends: Dominic Dominic was the young kitchen boy that Cherie's father wanted her to marry. Cherie hated him because he was so cold and didn't seem to like to be around people. Plus Cherie didn't like guys and had no intention of marrying one. Cherie though of the excuse of herself being too young but her father just got angry. Dominic had short brown hair and brown eyes. He wasn't really good looking and he liked to keep to himself.
Princess Alana Dasan/Oriana Kismet/Sailor Fortuna - Cherie loves Alana very much and wishes that Alana could love her too. She knows that Alana will never really love her the way Cherie loves her but she still likes to be near her. She writes poems about her and likes to cling to her side. She often calls Alana her "true love" but does it in a joking tone. Alana is the princess of Nydia and she has one sister named Alessa. Alana has pink hair that fades from dark to light.
Leana Anderson - The daughter of the exchange family who Cherie lives with. She is 15 and goes to Lavina High School. Leana is sometimes annoyed by Cherie's childish personalty but won't say anything about it. She has Aqua colored hair and black eyes.
Mr and Mrs Anderson - The parents who took Cherie in as an exchange student. They are both very nice and try to be as kind to Cherie as they can. Cherie doesn't understand the concept of letting someone stay in your house without having to work but she'll go with it. After all when in Otium do as the Otiums do. Mr Andersan has silvish hair and is slightly balding. His eyes are dark. Mrs Anderson has aqua hair with some silver hairs in it. She has brown eyes.
History: In Marielle only nobles had last names. So it wasn't uncommon that Cathline or Catheos didn'd have a last name. Cathline came from a small country called Pavelion. She'd been born there but decided to go out looking for something better. After a year she hadn't found it and took a job as a servant in the Palace of Marielle. There she met a young man named Catheos who'd been working there all his life.
They decided to get married and together they bore 2 children. The first one was named Caprice. She was a beautiful baby girl and the couple loved her very much. Cathline had to bring Caprice with her when she was working because she was afraid the little baby girl would get in trouble. When Caprice was 2 their second child was born. Her name was Cherie. She wasn't as pretty as Caprice and actually looked sickly. She was very thin and Cathline was afraid that she might die.
Cherie did survive and when she was 7 years old was hired as a servant for the palace. She'd been doing random tasks since she was three in the palace but only started getting paid at the age of seven. She became very good at cooking and cleaning. She had fun with it too which was unusual.
When she was 12 her father decided that she needed to get married. Cherie's older sister had already been married a year and a half before. Cherie had never really liked boys and she didn't want to get married especially to the man Catheos had picked for her. His name was Domonic and he wasn't a very pleasant person. She had to think of some reason why she shouldn't be married. She decided she was too young but when she told her father he simply got angry. He yelled at her and said that she needed to grow up. Cherie didn't like that comment and decided then and there that she wouldn't listen to her father and she would never grow up. So she started to behave childishly when she wasn't working and even spoke like one. This made her father even more angry but he didn't try to change her.
A few years later Marielle went under attack. It was being attacked by a large army that called themselves the Pravus. While most of the servants hid Cherie felt drawn to the battle and hurried up to the top of the castle to see what was going on. The Pravus were fighting Marielle's troops and they were losing. But then something wonderful happened. A few Strange soliders appeared. Their leader had pink hair and wore a blue and silver outfit.
Cherie thought she was very beautiful. They started fending off the Pravus with special powers and a phrase came to Cherie's mind. Without thinking she yelled, "Spes Celestial Power, Make-Up!" and a silver bell appeared in front of her. She took it and transformed into Sailor Spes for the first time. She helped fend off the Pravus army and after the battle got to talk to the pretty leader with the pink hair.
Cherie found that her name was really Alana and that she was the princess of Nydia, a kingdom not to far away. Alana and the other Fortis senshi explained that all of Vehemens was in danger of the Pravus and they were the only ones who could stop them. Cherie was asked to come with them. Cherie wasn't sure but eventually agreed.
She left without saying good-bye and her parents believed that she had died durring the attack. Her mother was upset but her father wasn't too shaken by it. Over the next few battles Cherie fell head over heals in love with Alana. However she knew that most people hated other people who liked their same gender so she kept it to herself. She did however begin calling Alana her "True Love" and hugged her as much as she could. She made sure to say it in a joking tone.
When word came that the Pravus had jumped planets Cherie was apprehensive about leaving Vehemens. She'd been planning on going back to her parents when the battle was over. She didn't share her feelings with anyone and just went. When she got to Otium she found that most people had last names, like nobles. So she took the name Caprice for her last name. From now on she was going to be known as Cherie Caprice, the foreign exchange student.

Henshin Phrase: Spes Celestial Power, Make-Up!
Transformation: Cherie takes off her bracelet and swings it back and forth a few times to make the bell ring. Then she yells her henshin phrase and the bell turns into a glowing ball of pink light. The ball spins around her and leaves a trail of sparkles that melt away her clothing and then form her fuku. Then she turns around and the ball or pink energy lands on her back and grows into her wings.

Fuku/Uniform: Spes has a light pink dress that ends above the knees and has a halter top top. It ties in a bow in the back. There is silver lacing in the front that ties in a little bow above her bust. She has long light purple gloves that reach her mid bicept. She has light purple pumps. She has a thin silver chain for her tiara and it has a light pink stone in it. The same sort of chain goes around her neck and it also has a light pink stone hanging from it. Light pink ribbons are in her hair, around the pigtails. She has a pair of large white wings attached to the back of the fuku.
Weapon: Light pink fan made of bone and feathers. A silver chain hangs off of it and attached to the bottom is a light pink stone.
Attacks: Hope sugar flurry Spes forms her fan in her hands and holds it in front of her. She opens it and fans the air and then herself. She states the name of the attack and moves the fan in a large swipe. Light Purple sparkles appear in the air and some turn into light purple balls of energy. They fly towards the enemy. They don't cause a lot of damage but can form welts on the skin. The attack is hard to dodge though.
Spes Perrie Sailor Spes forms her fan and faces an oncoming attack. She says "Spes Perrie" just as the attack reaches her and her fan glows bright pink. Then she uses it to bat the attack away. This attack can only be used on attacks that are in ball form. She cannot use it on an attack that's in the form of a stream. She also has to be careful about not batting the attack into an teammate. In the same respect she cannot use the Perrie attack to send an opponents attack back at them. Overall Spes' aim isn't that great, but she's getting better each time she uses this attack.
