Official currency of Terranotos. A One Argentum (1 Agt) piece is a small, round
coin with a circular hole in the center. They also come in denominations of 5,
10, 25, 100, 500, 1,000, 2,500, and 5,000 Agt, distuinguished by differences in
size, shape, and markings. Anything larger than that is generally handeled by
promisory notes.
Curiously, the slang term for Argentum, "holes," has appeared recently. It
refers to both the holes found in typical coinage, and the source of
Terranotos' new-found wealth. Argentum have also been called "rocks" (due to
Terranotos' large quantities of spesix), "chips" (see "rocks") and "jacks". No
one's too sure where that last term came from, but it's been around for a very
long time.
