Session Ident: #terranotos
* Now talking in #terranotos
* Topic is 'http://www.geocities.com/elemental_knight1/terranotos/ | Lial: Current Status: Mountains and Spas; Next Game: Sunday, July 3rd. The GM will be out of town July 8th-29th. There won't be any games in that window; sorry. | CMS: Accepting characters now. (This space is cramped.)'
* Set by ElementalKnight on Sun Jun 26 20:45:13
* ChanServ sets mode: +o ElementalKnight
I live and I'm only a tiny bit late!
hey
* ElementalKnight 's working on one of the big monsters for tonight. Don't mind him.
hehe, np
Here.
man. My players are bitchy.
lol, what're they whining about?
They're supposed to be.
They were upset I ended the session early because no one besides three people were there, one who came in 1 1/2 hours late.
and that may happen here, it seems.
Stupid July 4th-y-ness.
nah, even w/ 2 we can go on
Oh, ek, can I get Ladis a limit break with the new rules?
...What new rules?
there're limit break rules?
Ord stuff.
http://www.returnergames.com/boards/download.php?id=134
* Serigo awaits the resounding NO.
That'd be my first guess, but I really just wanna look it over for a while.
Maybe, maybe not.
I totally forgot about limit breaks
interesting system
And I've got the baddies done. They should pose a sigificant challenge...
...but in the meantime, I'm gonna look for some food. Haven't eaten much at all today.
I'll BBIAB.
ok
I'd personally like a Ranged Attack/Holy Elemental
dunno if I'd go the magical or physical route for Raza
She could do both, really.
true
Also, I've got burgers on George Foreman and they'll be done in five.
Bwahaha.
hehe
the fat drips right off
Disgusting but true!
And like most things that are disgusting but true, it's damn delicious!
hehe
hmm
Multiple hits would be fun
yes, if you had a high enough ds
well that goes for anything
Back.
Hey, Mory, any word from Gale?
or Ty, for that matter?
no
Joyous. And it's almost eight.
How late do we wanna wait?
8:30, then we'll start w/out 'em?
Sure. They can go in zombie mode - I kinda planned to have Jack and Mitzuin this battle anyhow.
Testing...
Battle order: Mitzu:15 Ladis:14 Desil:13 Jack:12 Raza:10 Kul:10
* Serigo is now known as Ladis
hmmm
Yeah.
yargh
Mory, you session almost done? Because it's eight-thirty-ish, and if we want to go on ahead without Ty and Gale then we should start soon.
* ElementalKnight should note that this'll probably be more fights than anything else. Lotsa Bosses and whatnot.
We might as well start. We're about to be in another battle.
* Ladis is ready
* Moryssa is now known as Raza
* ElementalKnight is now known as EK|GM
(Geeze. Tonight's gonna be a bloody night for you, then.
((Actually we're done. Another fricken cliff-hanger))
(I'm only interested if it involves a beautiful Canadian virgin being tied to railroad tracks.)
((LOL))
* The Mailmoogle walks ont othe blank screen, plugs in the Memory Card, and loads File 2. Notos reloads around the party, although Kul and Desil seem to have spaced out.
* Previously, everyone was looking into real estate being sold by Maibatsu Realty, and had yet to come up with anything worth buying.
((So we left and I'm assuming we decided to get some rest))
(Oh; sure.)
* >>ing to the Next Morning. Chirp, tweet, cockadoodledoo.
BLAM. "Damn Rooster."
jking.
* Morning rises on Notos, a light breeze blowing northwards. Very few people wander about the streets, and it's otherwise very quiet... Except for the two men dressed in black, running like mad to keep in front of several police officers. They're rather loud.
((Do I recognize either of those men?))
* They're both new to you, really, which is good - otherwise, you might care when one trips on a loose stone, collides into the other, and land in a heap together i nthe middle of the street.
* Raza looks at the men then turns to Ladis. "Bumbling idiot criminals. Only in Notos," Raza sighs.
"Indeed."
She heads over to the heap and knocks an arrow. "What are you two idiots up to?"
* Ladis draws his orb.
* Several cps all stare at Raza simultaneously. One pipes up, "These two gentlemen got it into their heads to rob the CPCA, at dawn, in plain sight."
*cops
* Meanwhile, Jack lazily emerges from the hotel, followed by a suprisingly awake Mitzu. "What's all th' ruckus for?"
"...why does God permit some people to breathe?..."
* Raza shakes her head. "You've got to be kidding me. Plain sight? What did they steal if you don't mind my asking?"
* The same cop points to the bags, now laying against the wall and happily spilling various artefacts, most of them shattered.
* The cops begin roughly cuffing the two robbers; apparently, this kind of thing is the normal wake-up call.
* Ladis turns to Jack. "The idiots, apparently, have been released from their cages."
The heiress watches the men et cuffed. "You'd never see that in my part of town," she said mostly to herself.
They have cages just for idiots here?
".....that was a figure of speech."
* A few of the cops try to gatehr up the remains of the artefacts, but seem to be held at bay by some kind of invisible wall.
They have cages for lots of things here. Wouldn't suprise me if they actually *did* have idiot-cages.
"...eh?"
"Something wrong, officiers?"
Well, we can't seem to pick these things up. Can't even get close.
* Raza gets closer and tries to pick the items up. "Are you sure?"
"hmmm..."
"An... invisble wall?"
* Most of the items that aren't near the bag seem pick-up-able, but the bag itself - and what's left inside - steadfastly stays behind its invisible wall.
* Ladis turns to the cops.
* Suddenly, the invisible wall *pulses* - it contracts, and then expands suddenly. The bag behind it *shifts*, as if something was moving inside it.
"Uh... oh..."
* Raza steps back a bit, but tries to get a focus on the magic in the bag. ((Empathy, Perception or Awareness?))
* The 'wall' pulses again, drawing far closer and not expanding as far this time. It's contracting. And the bag beins to move upwards.
(sure. Roll dem bones!)
((Awareness here as well.))

Raza - 3d100: 63, 94, 75 ( Total: 232 )
!roll 1d100
Ladis - 1d100: 90 ( Total: 90 )
* Whatever's in the bag certainly wants to keep to itself. Besides its dramatic enterance, or course.
* Raza looks at Ladis. "I can't break through the barrier."
* Ladis gets out his orb.
* Speaking of which, the bag flutters away from the floating object underneath - a pitch-black stone slab, maybe a meter tall and half as wide.
"Hmmm..."
"What the heck?"
((Does it look alive?))
(I'unno. Try the dice again' maybe Highwind will know.)
!roll d100
Raza - d100: 53 ( Total: 53 )
((Rolling for Notorious Monsters...))
!roll 1d100
Ladis - 1d100: 82 ( Total: 82 )
* Raza feels that it's similar to a Celestai, in nature, but... twisted, somehow. Not as strong, and not quite right...
"So, what do we do?"
* Raza relays that information. "I'm not liking this at all." She turns to one of the cops. "What exhibit did they steal this from?"
* One of the cops who was trying to get to the bag, starign at the slab, says, "Uh... Th' big one, just came into town. It was in the paper?"
"Of course. The Mystery exhibit. That helps a lot."
* The slab slowly floats downward, now hovering only a few feet above the ground. It begins to glow wite, then red, then an earthen brown.
* Raza gestures at Ladis. "Try talking to it. You're a tree hugger, maybe you speak it's language."
* The three glows become brighter, seperating from the black slab of stone.
* Ladis frowns at Tree Hugger, but he tries to extend benevolent thought to the creature, holding his hand out.
!roll 1d100
Ladis - 1d100: 23 ( Total: 23 )
((brb))
(Well, yo ucan certainly try to say hello.)
"Hello? Can you hear me?"
* The slab's three glows continue to expand, but a deep voice reverbrates from its onyx-esque surface. "Yes."
"Who are you, if I may ask?"
((Back))
I was one. Now I am three. But still one...
"So now you're three seperate entities, but united?"
* The three glows are beginning to coalesce into humanoid form: The brown glow, tall and bulky; the red glow, normal-sized, and the white glow, tiny and flitting.
* Ladis just watches.
Three different views of the same idea. Three views, changed, different from their source.
"Helps to look at something from different perspectives. But what was the idea?"
* The three glows have now subsided, leaving only the humanoid forms - a ten-foot-tall stone golem, a person-sized being of flame, and a tiny fairy, butterfly wings glowing white.
"Earth, Fire, and Holy?"
~Making, refinement, and acension?~
* Mitzu, quietly watching, has placed a hand on her swordhilt. She nudges Jack.
* Raza frowns as she watches this whole thing play out.
To take a good, to turn it evil. To imprision and release when ready.
"...to corrupt something good, then release it once the time was right..."
GrooOoooo....
* Ladis steps back.
"Raza... this may become... unpleasant."
"You think?"
"Are you for Good or for Evil?"
It will... but, please, release this base from which these wisted forms were wrought.
* The three newly-materialized golems simply stare at Ladis, uncomprehending.
"That answers that."
* Ladis draws his orb.
(You've drawn your orb thrice now. >.>)
"I think they want us to destroy them..."
"I gathered that too."
* The fire golem flares up; the holy golem fies around the two, and the earth golem takes a step forawrd, making the ground tremble.
* Jack returns, having gathered his weapon and hastily put on armor. he moves to Raza's side as Mitzu quietly edges around the three...
* Raza thinks about it for a moment. "They're good spirits, but their trapped in bodies that make them do evil. So I guess they're neutral? This is giving me a headache."
...And the screen goes swirly, if only to intensify Raza's heache.

(Could we see damage?))
* The schip is visible, sure, but it isn't a big chip and it's not really all that big a deal.
((...I meant number damage.))
* The Holy Golem flits to the Fire Golem, and flies around its head for a second. A blue bubble envelopes the firey one. (Shell (6))
(Course not; that's too easy. ^_^)
* Ladis curses.
The stone golem decides to attack Ladis, changing its fist into a spear to do so.
