Accessories are much like magic items. Often, they are some base material, such
as silver, steel, or even cloth, with spesix imbedded in them. The spesix must
be interwoven tightly with the material for the effects contained in it to stay
permanent and tied to the object.
With Weapons and Armor, the spesix is often pre-filled with an effect and
forged into the steel or, in very rare and valuable cases, mythril. The demand
for this spesix-enhanced equipment is what drives the industry. Though more
time- and material-intensive to produce than single-shot items, they often give
more bang-per-buck than said single-shot items simply because they last longer
with a slightly less impressive effect.
The same industry that finds ingredients for healing items often goes hunting
for materials for blacksmiths to use in their products. Finding a nice deposit
of iron can get one a very tidy sum - and to find a pocket of Mythril would
guarantee a pleasant lifestyle for quite some time.
