Travelling Museum Exhibit Arriving in Notos

A popular travelling museum exhibit, "Mysteries of the Depths", opens at
Notos' Center for the Preservation of Culture and Antiquities tomorrow.
The exhibit, which has mainly visited foreign countries in the two years
since its inception, is finally returning to the museum it began in.
"It's a wonderful exhibit," said Marcus Graham, curator of the CPCA.
"Five huge rooms filled with the greatest examples of our ancestor's amazing
ingenuity and prowess. Bits and pieces from all aspects of the lives that would
be buried in the dust, from war to the home, are on display."
The exhibit has recieved international acclaim, visiting ten museums the
world over and making over 8.2 million Argentum in the process.
Created from the finds of many infamous Delvers over the years, the
exhibit tells the story of an ancient family of Terranotos, through the use of
artefacts and modern storytelling, suplemented by clay tablets, also on display,
giving vivid accounts of daily life.
"Oh, it's a wonderful opportunity!" said Claire Harburnth, a teacher at
Pallestra Magus, specializing in children aged 6-11. "Students can not only see
what life was like, but also magic - I saw the exhibit back when it first
opened, and it's only grown in size and majesty since then!"
The exhibit, "Mysteries of the Depths", will be open starting
tomorrow, and will run for nine weeks.

Dangerous Magical Items Found; Source Unknown

Dangerous magical items have been turning up in and around Pallestra
Magus and the surrounding districts, according to several students and teachers.
"No one knows where this stuff is coming from," says Jonathan
Cummings, a third-year student at the Pallestra. "But they're dangerous to use.
I've seen people burn their hands off with what looked like basic Bomb Arms..."
The faculty is currently looking into the matter, and though they
would not comment at presstime, word has leaked that they, too, are stumped as
to these dangerous items' origins.
"We encourage all students to be aware of the what, where, when,
why, who and how of the magical items they use in their studies," stated a
release sent to every student two days ago. "That is, be aware of WHAT the item
is made of, WHERE it was made, WHEN it was imbued with magic, WHY it has the
magic it does, WHO imbued it, and WHY the did so. Unless you know all of these
facts, we ask that you refrain from using magical items."
"Also," continued the release, "report and suspicious items or
persons to the Head Office or the local authoriteis immediately!"

Mythril Cache Found Near Skylark's Watch

Last week, a small cache of Mythril, the incredibly strong metal,
was found a few miles outside of Skylark's Watch.
The cache is currently "open", that is, those who have claimed it (a
small group of dwarves) have allowed people to mine it, provided they pay a fee
and a hefty percentage of all mythril found.
The extent of the cache is currently unknown, but is presumed to be
only a ton or so of mythril.
Mythril prices fell considerably at the news of this discovery, from
622.7 Argentum per Kilo to 602.1 ApK.
