In the Lofty Mountain Temple of Darkness, 
you have to find your way through Shade's 
twisted mazes and puzzles to finally fight 
his powerful minion. Once you defeat this 
big blob of goo, he will consider you 
worthy and join your party. He is the weakest 
of the 8 elements.

Sprite Magic-
Dark Force   2MP - Enemy's energy explodes.
Dispel Magic 4MP - Removes enemies' reflect magic.
Evil Gate    8MP - Wave of darkness hits the enemies.
