This first account is an excerpt of Shiale's trial for the murder of Forland. Although, as it turns out, maybe Forland could have been his judge and jury and saved everyone a lot of time...

Bojax says, "I would like to call Forland to the stand."

Sahar arrives from the east.

Bojax looks at Forland.

Forland asks, "Would someone be kind enough to lead me to the stand?"

Forland stands up

Mudge looks at Forland.

Rahk looks at Forland.

Bojax says, "Denemir"

Kaylina looks at Forland.

Rasha looks at Forland.

Bojax says, "if you please"

Azalin looks at Forland.

Denemir motions forland to the stand

Forland twiddles his thumbs

Duke looks at Forland.

Dreth looks at Forland.

Bojax moves over to Forland and looks at him a moment then over at the Defense Table.

Firlefix arrives from the east.

Lothos arrives from the east.

Sivastion crosses one knee over the other and folds his hands in his lap.

Bojax asks to Forland, "is it true that you made outbursts in the tavern?"

Forland asks to Bojax, "What exactly do you mean by outbursts?"

Duke says, "Forland just answer the question."

Bojax asks, "did you call others names as the Defense stated?"

Forland asks to Duke, "If I am unsure of the meaning, then how can I answer?"

Forland says to Bojax, "In the Tavern, no, I did insult the druid Lavneschel as was said"

Bojax nods

Bojax asks to Forland, "and these outbursts were of a personal nature, something given to the right of every citizen to publically make...they were personal and your feelings at the time, yes?"

Forland says to Bojax, "Yes"

Eden looks at Bojax.

Bojax nods

Eden crosses her legs as she leans back in her chair

Denemir looks at Raiker.

Driala arrives from the east.

Bojax asks, "And after making your personal comments, you were amazed to be reprimanded by your priestess, were you not? Seeing that the Druids guild is not one of your friendlier neighbors?"

Cynna blinks

Shiale raises her eyebrows

Rahk hmms

Fiona arches a brow

Azalin frowns

Sivastion says, "objection, your honor, council has no knowledge of the relationship between the Dahkoar and the Druids"

Elena raises an eyebrow and scribbles some notes on parchment

Duke says, "Overruled"

Dina arrives from the east.

Rhoryk arrives from the east.

Forland says to Bojax, "I was not Reprimanded by preistess Shiale for my insults to the druids guild, but by Lyllyra"

Duke says, "Please continue"

Forland says to Bojax, "I spit in Lyllyras Face, that is when Shiale intervened"

Bojax nods

Bojax asks to Forland, "so your assault was not as the defense states, but rather at another guildmate?"

Forland says to Bojax, "Oh no, I did in fact spit in Shiale, but this was after the incident with the druids"

Bojax asks to Forland, "Are you a violent man, Forland?"

Forland says to Bojax, "Yes"

Forland shrugs

Duke raises his eyebrows

Dina looks at Duke.

Bojax asks to Forland, "is that why you saught comfort with Waylumi after the events?"

Bojax asks to Forland, "to perhaps, curtail your violent nature?"

Forland says to Bojax, "I did not Seek comfort, A follower of thiers was the one whom originally aproached me"

Bojax asks, "Do you feel you deserved to die for spitting in Shiale's face?"

Forland says to Bojax, "Along with several other occurances, yes"

Bojax asks, "Are there any rules of conduct posted in the guild?"

Bojax asks, "Does it explicitly state anywhere that failure to follow an order of Shiale may and can result in punishment up to and including death?"

Forland says to Bojax, "No, it does not."

Bojax says, "Did Shiale at any time during the events tell you that if you didn't stop you would be killed."

Forland says to Bojax, "Action was mentioned, but no, Death was never brought up"

Sivastion says, "objection, your honor, matter falls under internal guild heirarchy."

Duke says, "Sustained"

Bojax says, "I'll withdraw that question."

Bojax says, "Still, it is clear to me that Shiale acted without writ or right to murder this man."

Bojax says, "Your witness"

Bojax nods at Sivastion

Bojax sits Sivastion rises slowly to his feet.

Sivastion approaches the witness stand and leans against it.

Dina looks at Bojax.

Congetan looks at Rasha.

Sivastion asks, "Forland, have you pressed formal charges against the High Priestess, Shiale?"

Bojax says, "Objection, irrellevant"

Duke says, "sustained"

Forland asks to Duke, "How is it irrellevant, if I agree with the actions that were taken against me?"

Bojax says, "Objection, witness cannot ask questions"

Duke says, "sustained"

Elena blinks and scribbles furiously

Sivastion asks to Forland, "Forland, were you, or were you not instructed upon guild policy when you joined the temple?"

Duke says, "Forland please answer only the questions posed"

Forland says to Sivastion, "I was"

Sivastion nods

Forland says, "And I would like it noted that I am insulted that my opinion is irrellevant"

Duke asks, "Would you like to held in contempt ?"

Bojax chuckles

Sahar looks at Forland.

Sivastion asks to Forland, "have you had a history of violent outbursts, Forland?"

Forland says to Sivastion, "Yes"

Sivastion asks to Forland, "and have you been warned in the past that continuing to pursue those outbursts would result in stiffer and steeper punishments?"

Bojax whispers to Sahar.

Forland says to Sivastion, "The violent outbursts I was refering to occured before I came to this town"

Sahar nods at Bojax

Sahar whispers to Bojax Freed.

Sivastion asks to Forland, "but you have had outbursts while within Gahlen, ones which you have been reprimanded and punished for, have you not?"

Forland says to Sivastion, "Of a violent nature? No."

Duke looks around

Sivastion says to Forland, "but you have had outbursts"

Forland nods at Sivastion

Sivastion asks to Forland, "in your opinion, Forland, do you believe the High Priestess, Shiale acted within her rights when she ordered your execution?"

Forland says, "Yes"

Sivastion says, "the defense has no further questions for this witness. Thank you, Forland."

Dina raises her eyebrows

Sivastion sits down at the defense table.

Bojax says, "I would like to call Shiale to the stand"

Duke says, "You may step down Forland"

Forland stumbles, making his way out

Duke says, "Shiale please take the witness chair"

Forland leaves east.

Bojax boggles at the concept

Bojax asks, "Where's he going?"

Rahk blinks

Shiale stands and moves to the witness chair

Rahk looks past him and out the door

Duke says, "Bojax retrieve your client"

Bojax nods

Bojax says, "Driala, track that idio...track the victim down"

Bojax coughs

Rahk chuckles under his breath

Elena draws a few exclamation points on her paper before continuing to scribble

Unsurprisingly, Shiale was pronounced, "Not guilty."
