Characters

Most people visiting this site probably know more about the characters than they would want to, so I'm not going to get so in-depth with the main characters here. I mean, everyone knows Alucard, right? RIGHT?? Well, if you don't, you should go watch Hellsing! Why haven't you yet!? ... Anyway... A few weeks ago I would've given up on this, but since two major sites with chracter information are now dead and gone, I figure, I might as well help those poor folk out there who need character info. ^^;

This page will list the characters that appear in Hellsing, and mostly my opinions on them. "Why are you writing your opinions here, you horse-eating son of a hamster?" you ask. Well, if you're not interested in what I think, why are are you here!? Go to Hellsing.net or something, and stay there. If you're still here, please, proceed. But, remember kids, this is a page that contains MY OPINIONS. If you do not agree, please don't send me flames and letter bombs and death threats. Just throw your computer monitor out the window, and go out and kill people. ... Okay, so maybe that's not a good idea. Throwing your computer monitor out the window is such a horrible thing.

Hellsing Organization

Dedicated to ridding the world of the undead, this organization began several centuries ago, with the famous vampire hunter Dr. Abraham van Helsing. The organization is now run by Integral Hellsing, who is a descendent of this original vampire hunter. The purpose of the organization is to seek out and destroy vampires who plague England. A secret organization, it is scorned by the knights of the round table, but authorized by the Queen of England.

Alucard

Info: A powerful vampire captured by an ancestor of Integral, nothing much is known about this enigmatic figure. The greatest weapon of Hellsing organization, he is unknown to most of the world except to his victims and affiliates. He is bound to Integral by her blood, and answers only to her. He is trapped in the mansion with special seals devised by Dr. Helsing, and his bitterness towards his current situation is apparent in the manga. Anime Alucard is a mocking figure who is beyond human emotion. Manga Alucard is a monster to be feared; he destroys everyone and everything in his path, because he can. Alucard constantly searches for a challenge, for a powerful being to confront and test his powers.

Opinion: I really really like Anime Alucard. I do. Who wouldn't? He kicks ass! But Manga Alucard really gets to me. Sorry! ::gets hit by tomatoes::

Seras Victoria

Info: Daughter of a law enforcer, Seras became a law enforcer herself at a young age. She and her comrades were attacked in the village of Cheddar by a vampiric Priest. There, Alucard turned her undead, and she joined Hellsing organization afterwards. A fledgling vampire, Seras dislikes harming people, but she will do what she must if ordered. She can become berserk under too much pressure, and does all she can to defend her "Master".

Opinion: I think she's okay. I don't particularly like or dislike her. And I can't hate her because she's too adorable. =D I wish Kouta Hirano would stop drawing her chest as if it were two balloons floating about in her shirt, though.

Integral (Fairbrooke) Wingates Hellsing

Info: Last remaining descendant of the Hellsing line, Integral lost her father at a young age, and took the responsibility of running Hellsing organization by herself. Now only 23, she acts much older than she is. Cold and sharp, she has a severe dislike for vampires, and puts her duty before everything else.

Opinion: Dude, Integral is awesome. We need more female characters like her in anime. Or maybe that would get a little too scary. But damn! Woman of steel! I bow down to thee!

Walter C. Ddollneazz

Info: The butler of Hellsing mansion, he has been in service with the Hellsing house ever since he was a young boy. He took care of Integral after her father's death, and still looks after her now, in his own way. He has an extraordinary skill, in which he can manipulate several sharp wires with his hands to mass slaughter any enemy. It is the same technique he used 50 years ago, when he and Alucard destroyed the last remaining Nazi army.

Opinion: Who doesn't like Walter? He's DA MAN! I was screeching like a dumbass when he started killing those ghouls left and right! Anybody who's seen Hellsing knows what I mean! Whoo hoo! Go Walter!

Pip Bernadotte

Info: The leader of a group of merceneries ("The Wild Geese" or "The Pineapple Army") that was hired after the Hellsing mansion was attacked, Pip is the typical chain-smoking, booze guzzling man. He makes passes at Seras a lot, once even resorting to a lewd song, just to get her attention. He has a major role in Manga Volume #3, where he helps out Alucard and Seras during their trip to Rio de Jenairo. He sports a hat that says "Britanica Cowboys", and yet he has a mark of the French flag on his uniform. Considering his last name, it's safe to assume that he is French. Pip is a little like Alucard in the way they think about their jobs, however, Pip seems to have a more positive outlook on situations.

Opinion: ::slaps Pip:: Hahahaha! O_o

Iscariot

Vatican's special section 13. A group of mostly mentally unstable priests and nuns who do the "dirty work" of the Vatican. Not only do they exterminate vampires, but also cults that disguise themselves as Catholics to abuse the faith.

Father Alexander Anderson

Info: A maniacal priest whose body has been made into regenerator, he is virtually unstoppable. He carries out missions from Iscariot to rid the land of all vampires he comes across. He carries a fanatical devotion to the word of God and the Holy Bible, and he hates the undead, and goes berserk when attacking them. In the manga, he also looks after children in Ferdinand Luke's Orphanage.

Opinion: Anderson is wonderful. I love Anderson. =)

Father Enrico Maxwell

Info: Head of Iscariot Organization, and enemies with Hellsing, although for a short while, he pretended to sympathize with them. Manipulative and sneaky, he's smooth with words, but gets easily upset, and cowers behind Father Ronaldo. He isn't as slimy in the manga, however. He co-operates with Hellsing, and helps them on their research for more information about Millenium. But, he may hide sinister motives. He takes direct orders from the Pope.

Opinion: Everyone knows I like Maxwell, right? I just can't help myself. He needs to be with Integral, dammit!!!

Father Ronaldo

Info: Priest who accompanies Father Maxwell most of the times, he is the rare member of Iscariot that acts like a normal Fatherly priest should act.

Opinion: I know that hardly anybody knows who Father Ronaldo is, but I think he's nice. He deserves a mention here.

Millenium

Originally the secret Letztes Bataillon (Last Batallion) of World War II, they were supposedly vampires created in a last attempt to take over the world. Unfortunately for them, the research wasn't made in time, and the experiment failed, resulting in nothing but ghouls, which were destroyed by Hellsing organization's Alucard and Walter. What remained of the betallion fled to South America and lay in wait until the present day. Now the research is complete, and the organization consists of various monsters and experiments ranging from artificial vampires to werewolves. Millenium's purpose is to bring war and spread vampirism into the world.

Major Montana Max

Info: Leader of the Millenium group and mastermind behind its evil plans. Originally a SS Lieutenant in World War II, he is despised by many people alike, and is branded a monster. Short and chubby, he always sports an unpleasant expression. His wish is to experience a world-wide war that lasts forever. He was supposedly given secret orders by Hitler himself, and acts like an Agent, much to the dismay of other officers of high rank.

Opinion: I like the Major! But I really can't take him seriously. Why? I dunno. Maybe because he's so small and chubby and cute? And he also has a dumb name? It just makes me laugh at him when he says evil things. Makes you wonder what made him so angry at the world. Maybe he was teased a lot when he was young. Ha! But I still can't figure out what he is. Supposedly Millenium's an organization of vampires, right? But the main trio of Millenium don't look or act like vampires. So what are they? Did they find the fountain of youth? Is there a different kind of chip for people who want to live long but don't want to be vampires?

Captain Hans Günsche

Info: The giant man who is with the Major at all times, he is basically his bodyguard. Sporting an officer's great coat and SS Panzer Officer's hat, Captain is a fearsome sight. He never utters a word, and stands at attention at all times. Apparently he and Walter had a confrontation a few decades back.

Opinion: Captain rules, plain and simple. I wonder what he thinks about all the time? Maybe about how damn sexy and perfect he is? ::laughs::

The Doctor

Info: Responsible for the freak chip distribution and Millenium's army of super vampires. Wears trademark bloody coat and layered glasses.

Opinion: I love Doc. Doc rules. "Why the @#$% do you like a @#$%ed up @#$%er like DOC!?" you exclaim. Well, A: I like doctors. XD B: He's pure evil genius. Who wouldn't like that? Huh? Huh?? I mean think about it. Without Doc, Millenium wouldn't exist. No Doc = No evil vampires = No plot for Hellsing = No Hellsing manga for us. Ha! ... Or something. Yes. Uhm... Yeah. ::leaves::

Luke Valentine

Info: Older brother of the two Valentines, and leader of the two. Classy and arrogant, he takes pride in his tactics and superhuman speed. He and his brother attack Hellsing mansion in order to test out Alucard's power.

Opinion: Luke is kewl. Hardly anybody likes Luke, though. But he's sexy, dammit! XD

Jan Valentine

Info: Younger of the two Valentine brothers. Swears a lot, and loves blood and coke (The drink.), he likes to shock people, and speaks very loudly. Main attacker of Hellsing mansion. He leads an army of ghouls into the building to kill anyone and everyone who stands in the way.

Opinion: Everyone knows I love Jan. You didn't? Well, now you know.
