Rory's an all around nice guy... well, most of the time. He's a mercenary who occasionally teams up with Selene Valice for various jobs. He's a joker and loves to flirt with girls and frequent Irish pubs. He tends to be extremely insensitive to others. He's reckless and not afraid to put his own life at risk. He would do anything for his friends, family, and country (Ireland), though he makes sure not to let them know that. At least not his friends. He sends whatever money he can to his mother, and would never do anything to betray Ireland; but he has no qualms about letting his friends think all he cares about is himself.
