Physical description: Bridget has bright, bright red hair and green eyes and is just basically gorgeous. And she knows it. She's about 5'6".
Bridget's parents died in a car accident when she was seven. She and her old brother, Colum, went to live with their grandmother and uncle after that. Her grandmother, though, wasn't in the best of health and her uncle spend too much time drinking to help out, so Colum ultimately played a large role in taking care of her. Their grandmother died when Bridget was 14. She spent one more year with Colum and their uncle, Dermot. After Colum told her his plans for the priesthood, she decided it was time to for her to leave her "backwater little town" and move on to bigger things as well. So sometime after she turned 15 she joined up with Michel in Salaise, working as a mercenary/bounty hunter. The job is a secret that she tries to keep from Colum, but he's a little smarter than she thinks. Though she loves him, she only has so much patience for him and often loses her temper at his protective attitude. She's got a hot temper, but can also be very friendly. Despite the job, she's also a rather girly type and enjoys primping and dressing up.
Case notes: I had something else typed for Bridget not too long ago, but looking at it now, I decided it was time to revisit her profile. I've got a new-found respect for the girl. It was a long time in the coming though. She frustrated me with the things she'd do and say. She was so inconsiderate, and so . . . girly. And yet, recently it just dawned on me . . . I like this girl. She's impulsive, inconsiderate, and moody, yes. That's what I used to dwell on. Her faults (and there are many) drove me absolutely batty. And, make no mistake, if she were real, the two of us would never make friends. I will say this for her though, I always know what she's thinking. She's crystal clear, that one. She thinks what she thinks, she feels what she feels, and, even though I may not understand her, there's no holding her back. Other characters take time, or prodding, or distance to figure out. Bridget just is and she's not shy about it. I think that's one thing I do love about Bridget. As I phrased it a while back, "She's smart, and she's passionate, and she doesn't take any crap off of anyone." I don't have a lot of bold and brassy characters, so I hope those are some traits she hangs onto.
Psst: I know it's hard to believe, but Bridget is actually just as protective of Colum as he is of her. It's just no one knows this because, unlike her, he doesn't really give people many opportunities to worry about him.
