Physical description: Jasper is about 5'7" with brown hair and eyes.
Jasper was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, but his parents relocated to Violesang, Salaise, when he was still a kid . . . and he and his identical twin brother, Kasper, found a new neighborhood to terrorize. Jasper is the more mischievous of the brothers. He's upbeat, optimistic, self-confident, and care-free. He often goofs off when he should be working, and sometimes doesn't take things as seriously as he should.
Jasper is a Thaumatur and has the ability to create illusions. After high school, his parents agreed to send him to Arcadia. He was a member of the elite fighting group there, Caedo, and captain of the baseball team. When he's not being terribly obnoxious and annoying, he's generally the friendly type of guy that gets along with anyone who can take his jokes.
Interesting enough, he has a huge crush on a demon. While at Arcadia, a girl came into he midst of the residents. She had white hair, little wings, and didn't really talk. She did, however, eat the candy bars Jasper offered her. He spent time around her when he could, and eventually she got a few words out. Unforunately, she was a demon and some of her demon friends came to remind her of this. Jasper had a run in or two with them, and tried to convince her to stay, but she left anyway. Still, she's got him pretty well wrapped around her finger any time she does return to ask something of him, and he's done a thing or two he isn't very proud of to help her.
Recently he got himself into a bit of a jam when he tried to help his friend, Govan, break her boyfriend out of jail. Things went a little awry and now he, and all of the others who helped, are wanted. He's hiding out at his parents' house.
Case notes: Jasper! I don't have anything on Jasper yet! Gah. I love this kid. He and his brother first came into being when I was in Shadow Street Lodging House, near the end of my time there. I knew I'd be taking my three existing characters (and dog) out of the house, so I created Jasper and Kasper to take their places. Unfortuntely, I never got a chance to play them. At all. This was kind of disappointing to me. I'm not sure what it was that made me bring Jasper into Arcadia, but I'm glad I did. He's been a lot of fun for me. He's got his faults, no doubt, but he's sincere, upbeat, engergetic, and basically good. Unfortunately, that's pretty much the only side he wants to show to me, so when he gets into one of his moods, I'm not quite sure what's going on with him. I know something's up, but I just haven't been able to pry it out of him yet. That's okay though. For now, he keeps me amused. And someday, a light will come on and I'll think, "Ah-ha! Now it makes sense!"
