Louis comes from a long line of respected officers. Though he is not one of them, he tries to let on that this does not bother him. He cheerfully accepts his place in the world and works all the harder to make up for his lack of magical abilities. Though he is a very optimistic and caring person at heart, he cannot help but to be disappointed sometimes, despite himself. He never questions the system, but feels a deep disappointment in his own failure. This is due, in part, to the attitudes of his family members, who were never shy about voicing their views on his worthlessness for being born without magical abilities, like the rest of them. For the most part, however, he is content, and good at hiding his feelings when he is not. He is friendly, helpful, and always eager to please others. He's in his first year at Wellington.
