Closeup of the painting Artist Looks At Nature

The closeup is identical to the self-portrait Sheeler did. I saw this black and white image (the original is not just shades of grey, but apparently a strong "acid" green), in a book of Sheeler's photographs and began to cry at Barnes and Noble. Two cokes bedamned, the picture moved me greatly. This was exactly how I felt with regards to existing in the world around me. Back to 08022003 Pittsburgh
