As the fourth actual full-length album J.E.W has produced, this album stands out in the music industry as an emo-driven punk band who has made it to the big time. With the well-known recent single, “Bleed American”, sales were not really going down. Actually, the sales increased and had a very good reaction on the music compiled on this disc. This album has great emo-core lyrics and music that’ll leave you with a sound track to life. Yes, it’s that damn good. Listen to the lyrics a few times, with an open mind to catch every little detail and every little emotional note.
Track 2, “A Praise Chorus”, can even be used in teaching youngsters about life. Think it’s a joke? Take this small bit from the song for example: “Things are never going to be the way you want. Where’s it going to get you acting serious”? This lyrics are very influential, and the music breathes through this album. One of the best songs on this album is also one of the slowest, but probably holds most meaning to the author. Track 6, “Hear You Me”, has to be heard with a great open mind to the many things the singer is talking about. Here is a little sample of the lyrics: “There’s no one in town I know, you gave us some place to go, I never said thank you for that, thought I’d get one more chance. May angels lead you in”. I am guessing he has lost someone along the way, and never got to say thanks and now it’s too late. Backup singer, Rachel Hagen has a little solo in this song. Extraordinary voice, truly unbelievable. Her voice reminds you of an angel, so I guess it fits the song.
This album has got to be one of the best albums I have ever bought and a prize on my shelf. I regret not buying any of their earlier stuff. I guess I should now. This album deserves more than 5. They deserve a gift as well for this great disc. Who would’ve thought one band could put so much greatness onto a small disc. I give this cd the most I can give, 5. Alright, I’ll ass a plus.
5+ out of 5.

Note: Obviously, this is just the way I feel. Check the band out for yourself before you buy the album. Maybe take a look at their web site for a start.
