Limp Bizkit with “Chocolate starfish and the hotdog flavored water.”
This is now the second review, since this past November. By the way, Merry Christmas!! This next cd, done by a group who has been in the big time music business for the past two or three years. They have been throwing us hits left and right, such as “Faith,” “Nookie,” and the most recent titled “Rollin’.” Yes, you guessed right; Limp Bizkit. The most recent album entitled “Chocolate starfish and the hotdog flavored water,” includes 15 tracks of very loud and straight forward rock and rap mixed together sounding really hot! This album includes the song you’ve probably heard on the radio entitled “Rollin’.” This song has two mixes, an “urban-assault mix” and an “air-raid” mix. I do not really know the difference between the two. I just got the cd and have’nt had much time to really sit down and listen to the mixes, but they are both pretty good. My personal favorite, is “ Getcha groove on,” the 9th track on the cd. Also, one of my favorites is track 3, “My generation.” I am a very easily amused person, and was brought to the ground in laughter from track 15, the “Outro” of the cd entitled, well.......”Outro.” It is a recording of Limp Bizkit talking, and one of the members are laughing for about 3 minutes non-stop, without any music, or talking in the background. I dont know if you will like it, but I sure did. Ha ha. If you are into hard punk, rock, rap and so-called thrash metal as Limp Bizkit says it, then this cd is for you. I am not really in tune right now with the rap world other than the really well-known rappers, but I am with the punk and rock and Limp Bizkit is somewhere at the top, in my opinion. So in conclusion this cd is totally well worth the money that i did not spend to get it; I borrowed it. If you like Limp Bizkit and like this kind of music, I recommend it. If you dont like this kind of music but want to get into I suggest buying it; This might be a good start. If you have heard “Rollin’,” and you like that, then I do recommend this cd for you. “Chocolate starfish and the hotdog falvored water”, includes so many better tracks than that. In other words, GET THE CD, and if I may,
“You’ve aint heard nothing yet.” This cd recieves : øøøøø (5 of 6)
