Protocol 13 started formed when 3 Delmar College students Omar, Ernie, and Angie decided that they wanted to get a band together and start touring and playing shows anywhere they could. Playing at the old guitarist other bands Storage unit, "Guttersluts" only with 2 guitar players and bass we decided to write a few songs and then look for a drummer. It only took one try and tape to get Tommy to join us...With Expierence with Puructic and Sense of Demise, both speed and timeing were a great advantage to our sound, and well worth jamming with. As a few months of practicing we got some songs... but the band wouldn't be complete with out a vocalist. Flyers were made for a female singer to try out for us, not really anyone tried out.. and then the search came to an end, when Omar's G/f Amanda decided to try out. Without any hesitation, we picked her up to jam with us and make the band complete. rock for a month or so... The old guitarists decided to leave the band for personal reasons. We were stuck in a rut and left with songs and no guitar players. Tommy knew a great guitarist who had been dying to play with a band.. due to his 6 years of experience we decided to give him a chance and with one practice with us, we knew he was the man for the job. With this we have recorded our Ep and have played more shows and schedualing a fall tour...
