Stand that I build for my tank. More pics.

Tank:
Size: 29 Gallon Breeder
Temp: 82°F
Ph: 7.4
Lighting : 2 - 20 Watt Hagen Aqua-Glo

I had my discus in my 40 gallon planted tank for about 8 months. I made water changes twice a week and gravel vac. This was not enough to keep up with the fish. The plants were going down hill. I decided to set up a 29 gallon bare bottom tank for my breeding pair of discus. I sold the other discus I had. The tank gets about a 28% water change twice a week.

I use a Hagen Aqua Clear 50 Filter (Old 200). Twice a month the filter gets cleaned. The filter gets new filter fiber added, and the sponges washed off. I do nothing with the ceramic biological media.

The plants in this tank are: Microsorum pteropus and Pistia stratiotes. Carnivorous plant Utricularia gibba.

Fish:
Breeding pair of Pigeon Blood Discus
