An Eye Picture
There is a picture
a feeling
one sees spread out
before eyes
common
to many souls
who exist
in their worlds
without light.
Their expression
of discontent
paints this picture
in colours
of sadness
and resentment
in a pattern
on the easel
of my mind.
When one perceives
through the I
of the self
the composition
of their creation,
one finds
interwoven :
desire
karma
suffering
and pain
with
self
frustration
and ignorance.
Would
they could see
colours
intertwined
with the Light.
The Minefield of Giving
Between one
who asks
and another
who gives
rests
a minefield -
the passage
through which
depends
upon the presence
of space
sanctity
bonding
and trust
together
with the absence
of judgement
dogma
intrusion
and ego
The Pain of giving through-
An Explanation.........
When one
attunes
in totality
with the soul
of another
and is inspired
to give through
at a level
transcendent -
the return
from this state
often
leaves the giver
in confused pain
If one looks
from above
for the source
of this pain
one finds
that the giver
through the gift
has relinquished
a known level -
and exists
unexpressed
at another
The pain
is a wish
for the self
to attune
with the other
at this new level
created
by the deed
of giving
Egotism
It is egotistic
to expect
another
or others
to be
as I am
as I wish
as I do
It is egotistic
to expect
another
or others
to see me
as I am
as I wish
as I do
Embraced
Love
has found me
I am within
a boundless space
without condition
devoid of need
where I may give
without desiring
receive
without deserving
I am
within love
His Love
Concluding Prayer
Beloved Father Mother Son God
The All Wisdom All Goodness All Power
Beloved Christ
Pan - Agapi
guide our bodies
this day
this night
in their passage
through these worlds
of existence -
these worlds
of the phenomenon -
according
to Thy Will
according
to our Spirit needs
and we give thanks
for the path
that will unfold..........
