Elias was first formed by Jeremy and Marc in early september 2000. They had both spent time together in many previous bands but they never found the right combination. They decided to form a new band based on new material that Jeremy had wrote, They knew the songs had potential so they worked on them for a number of months without recruting members. The had learn't from previous mistakes not to rush the songs. Soon after they felt it would be a good idea to demo some of their songs. They recorded five original tracks and pleased with the new style started to show the demo to as many people as they could. They had good responses and this is where they came across the drummer David who liked the style of our band. Soon after we gained another guitarist Jonathan.
A few vocalists had tried the band but Elias have felt that the singers were not good enough for the job. Elias remain as a four peice with a burning desire to reach a wider audience and create an impact on the music scene.
