In anime, eye size is often used to express certain ages or personalities. Large eyes connotote innocence and youth, while narrower eyes indicate adulthood and a more wordly mindset. When Neherenia was a child, her eyes were big and innocent, sky blue, full of the compassion she abhors as an adult. Later, when she begins eating the dream mirrors of her subjects in order to stay young and beautiful, they become slightly narrower and violet. As an adult, her eyes are diamond shaped, mainly white with only a small circle in the center that seems to vary in color from gold to grayish-blue. They are different than all the other Sailormoon characters.
