The above appear in a book dedicated to Wilkes Co. tax research, so I am not sure what the references to other counties mean. Perhaps the people owned land in Wilkes, but lived in the other county, or vice versa?
At any rate, Buckner Harris filed on behalf of the others; Joel's was an estate as he was dec'd.
