I spent 2 days working on this ... you'd think it would be better ^_^.  But I'm sort of proud of it -- since I have trouble drawing men and drawing groups of humans, I'm pleased that I ended up with a passable picture which included 2 men and 1 pair.  I tend to make high-res scans, and then downsize, and this is actually a little smaller than I'd like -- but I didn't want a 3Mb pic on my site.

All the figures are stylised and cartoonish, but I'm pleased with Hermione's expression, which is slightly reminiscient of Emma Watson (this is more obvious in the larger version).  I had serious trouble with Ron, who I don't usually visualise in much detail, but I kind of like the look he ended up with -- short hair, in contrast with Harry's, and what looks like Sirius's motorcycle jacket.  (Which Sirius stole from Angel anyway.)

It was going to be a pencil drawing, but I wanted it to be dark, yet vivid, with heavy black outlines.  Pencils weren't doing it, so I switched to watercolours, and then (reluctantly) to paints.  In painting, I seem to have damaged Ron's shoulders, but in terms of colours, I like the results -- although a lack of good pens means that my vision of thick outlines had to be *sniff* compromised.

Hmm ... I think I've said enough.
