The Harvesting Machine Machines have been invented which have a very high axle, so they can straddle the row of vines. Rubber flaps at the sides and near the lookout's feet, slap the vine, dislodging the fruit, dried leaves, and loose canes. The lookout is checking the driver has positioned the harvester correctly.
