Westgate Timeshare Resort Issues

I came across your web page and got extremely worried. We have bought a two week timeshare from Westgate Lakes last year and although they were pressurising we signed in the end (Big Mistake). My husband was convinced that the referrals that they suggested we could do would bring in enough business for us to pay off our timeshare costs. Unfortunately since last August when we went to Orlando my husband has lost his job and we are finding the payments unbearable. £200 comes off my credit card every month to pay for the timeshare. Now my credit limit is at its peak. I spoke to the credit card company to tell them not to allow any more payments to go through for Westgake Lakes and they came back saying that the contract has to be cancelled with Westgake. So we e-mail to westgake, ten days later we get a one line response saying that "we can not cancel your contract" and that was it. No advice, no support, no where to turn. We are in an overwhelming situation that neither my husband or myself can see us getting out of. What's the next step for us? Bankruptcy? I just don't know. Please if you have any e-mails that have been sent to you with similar cicumstances please let me know and any advice would be greatly appreciated.
