Westgate Timeshare Resort Issues

Our experience mirrored those of the others. We actually stayed on property for our vacation (July 2003). I would not recommend Westgate Lake Resorts as a place to stay - it was loud and noisy and we were not able to rest or relax in our room! My husband had to aske our 'neighbors' (we had the studio next to a larger unit but shared the outer entrance) to quiet down at 1:30 a.m. so that we could sleep. We knew going into the tour and sales pitch that we were not interested in buying and we went for the tickets, but it wasn't worth the abuse and aggrevation. We were very upfront about our intentions with our first sales person and once back at the pavillion after the second person tried to sell to us I was so angered by the way we were treated that I actually yelled and demanded our $20 deposit back - forget the tickets. (Yes, we were asked for a $20 deposit that was to be refunded after our 90 minute tour - and it was.) We did get the tickets and then had to walk all the way back to our car which was parked rather far away. The reports of experiences, and price quotes were the same as others. I would not recommend this place to anyone!
