Westgate Timeshare Resort Issues

I myself Own at westgate as do my parents. They have been owners at westgate for 10 years. I would like to find owners at westgate who have problems cause you know what? I would like to let as many people as I can know about westgate and why they should NOT buy at this place!! Every year from day one we have had problems including the most recent. We are here now. Without going into details about the problems over the years till maybe a later date. I will tell you about the sales problem which we had this week. Ok first off we got here they showed us to our room as usual and the guy who did wanted to make an appointment to talk to us on Wed. Which they do that every year and we blow off the appointment cause we know they are just trying to sell us more. Well, this year the guy was pretty pesky. We didn't answer the phone when he called so he called back right away. Then came and knocked on the door. So we said yea we're busy we'll reschedule for Friday. Well, some problems arose that upset us so we said yea we'll meet with him to tell them our complaints cause we're sick of this every year having problems. Well the complaints probably went in one ear and out the other and they tried selling us an "UPGRADE" well we looked it over and had some benefits over what we currently own but it also had some things that were taken away so basically it wasn't that much an improvement over what we had but the guy said it would be between $2,000 and $4,000 to upgrade from what we had and we decided that was worth the improvements. Well, when we get to the man who gives the actual price it turned out to be $13,000 more than what we currently have so we said no way and walked off. Now they took up a lot of our time for this and what we have is a 4 bedroom and what they wanted us to buy was a 4 bedroom just a little different and better configuration but we weren't getting anything "MORE". Well, then I go online to find out if anyone else has been having trouble with westgate cause I want to somehow tell the world what's happening and you really can't do that if you're alone nobody will listen. BUT if you get hundreds of people and having them be actual "OWNERS" or former owners who have problems then you can get somebody to listen and write about it where it counts. Anyway while online I found a resale site in which I could buy through resale a whole lot more than they are offering for a heck of a lot less money. For instance I just bought out at River Ranch week 11 fixed unit for $16,000 and I find I could buy a villa at westgate villas in Orlando which is a more prime location, week 11 fixed unit for $3500!! I would have taken that over $16000 anyday I wish I had known before buying retail I would have saved a lot of money had the same week in a better location. But from what I seen with the trying to upgrade is they want to give us the low rate that you could buy a resale for the place we own now while selling us the new unit for the premium retail rate they charge. I'm betting after these new units are done and they start to hit the resale market they won't be but $4,000 more than ours Max!! NOT $13,000! Just so you know the figure I'm talking about they are trying to sell us a 4 bedroom unit for $44,000!! So anyway if you know of any owners that have problems with things going wrong at westgate I would love to know about it cause I want to expose these people. David Seigal has in 20 years become a billionaire off of Westgate resorts I think we shouldn't have all these problems. Also did you get the name of the person who accused you of making it up?
