YD We Want to Get Out of our Contract
Westgate Timeshare Resort Issues
Date of Incident: 5/14/2003
We have been back in the UK for two weeks following our holiday in Florida, where we succumbed to the Westgate high pressure sales tactics. We're really panicking now, having just read all the e-mails on your site. Is there any way we can get out of this contract without loosing out ? We've so far paid the deposit on credit card, with the first payment due shortly.

If it's past the 3 days to 10 days they normally give you to change your mind, it's really too late. You are now in a legal contract and must follow through to the end. You could I suppose try to sell it on ebay if you really didn't want it, but maybe now that you're "stuck" it might be worth giving a try and seeing if you enjoy it. I have had 2 or 3 people write me and say they've had nice stays there, so you might end up lucky!
