Four of us from Hawthorne Drove #35 attended the Nev/Az District Meeting in Boulder City on March 15-17.  Registration reported 72 in attendance.  We were quite surprised that 9 Past Supreme Presidents were there and 5 Supreme Elected Officers;  it was very impressive.  Yours truly was District President and our own Norma Harrington was District Secretary.  Vice President was Elnora Kaufman from Parker #133 Az and Treasurer Roberta Cannon Boulder City #34.  In 2008 the District Meeting will be hosted by Parker #133.  The new officers are President Carol Oransky Boulder City #34, Vice President Angela Whitaker parker #133, Secretary Sharon Griffin Parker #133 and Treasurer Mary Moody of boulder #34.  We as a Drove did not put any names in.  We soon will be initiating 3 new prospective members; Vickee Reece, Barbie Caruthers and Mary Stroud.  Things are looking more hopeful.
