My name is Liz Elliott of Elmwood Park, IL (North & Harlem, basically, however closer to North/Lathrop). I am a stay a home mother of two boys, Jack 7yrs & Liam 3 1/2 yrs. Jack goes to school at St. Vincent Ferrer in River Forest, IL, and Liam at EP's Early Childhood Program. I am currently the President of the Ladies Guild for St. Vincent's and will be going back to school to get my Masters in Education starting in the Fall(evenings). Until my Masters is complete (it is going to take some time), I will be watching children in my EP home.
MY UPBRINGING: I grew up in Sauganash (north side of Chicago)--went to Queen of All Saints Grade School; Regina Dominican (all girls HS) in Wilmette, and the University of Dayton for college. I consider myself a pretty "normal" person, and I am SURE (no positive) I would be the type of sitter you would want/demand for your children. Most importatnly, however, I so enjoy watching kids, and the few I currently care for now truly do have a wonderful time!! My home is FILLED with toys/games/arts & crafts--your child will be in heaven! (More importantly, to me anyway, your child would be in a home whose #'s are kept VERY small; well organized and meticulously clean!) Just know your son/daughter would have a wonderful time here.
Although I will be keeping my numbers very small (find it necessary to make sure ALL needs are met at ALL times) I currently have an opening for one more FT/PT child to watch in my Elmwood Park home. I currently watch one 6 month old baby full time and an 21 month old two days a week.
If interested, please know that I am very flexible, whatever your needs are, I am sure I can accomodate.
I charge a very reasonable $250-$325/FT week, fee is dependent on hours needed. (Room for negotiation). Also, $8/hr for non-regular misc. sitting. As mentioned, I enjoy children dearly, and have full-time babysitting experience w/ excellent references.
