I just wanted to say that I LOVED Skeeter! I rasied a kit also who's mother had been shot and I had such great pleasure in watching that little "rascal" (his name) grow up to be a whopping 27 lbs. before I knew it was time to return him to freedom. His eyes weren't even open when I got him and it just so happened that I also had a newborn baby so I bottle fed rascal all the left over formula along with some rice cereal at first and then it was eggs, cheerios and apples he loved..then he became a rebellious teenager and I fed him live minnows. I kept him for about ten months and then set him free. I now am avid collector of raccoons. Thanks so much for the wonderful site!
