Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away....     EPISODE Ia KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC It is a time of upheaval for the Galactic Republic.  Following the collapse of the planetary embargo after  the Battle of Naboo, severe sanctions are imposed on the Trade Federation by the Senate.  Under the direction of the  newly elected Supreme Chancellor Palpatine, the bureaucracy  is savagely restructured into a more efficient form of government.   As political reform sweeps across the galaxy, young Anakin Skywalker  begins his apprenticeship  in the Jedi Temple  at Coruscant,  as padawan learner to Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi. The Jedi Council searches for answers   to  the identity and origin of the mysterious Sith warrior responsible for the death  of Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn.                                                                             .   Meanwhile,  the  sinister  Lord  Sidious  scours  the galaxy for a suitable replacement  for his fallen apprentice.  A handful of  Dark  Jedi,  seduced and corrupted by the Dark Side of the Force, compete against each other  for the right to  learn the ancient secrets at the Sith Lord's side....       .      -----o-----
