PILAF SAGA
Dragonball starts when young Son Goku meets Bulma.Bulma hits Son Goku with her car,suprisingly Goku and his fish weren't injured at all.Son Goku took Bulma to his house. Bulma was suprised to see a Dragonball with 4 stars.She later explains what the Dragonball is.Son Goku refuses to give the Dragonball,so he decides to join Bulma for the Dragonball.They makes a lot of friends during the journey including Wuron(Oolong),Yamu(Yamcha),Master Kame,Chi Chi and King Ox.Pilaf and his two servants know about the Dragonball and try to steal it from Son Goku. In the battle,Goku turns into a Gorilla(Oozaru) and destroyed Pilaf's castle.
Red Ribbon Saga
Son Goku was in training with Master Kame during this sagas.Later Kurin joins Son Goku in the training.They meet a girl in this saga,named Ranci.She is a very strange girl,every time she sneeze, she will turn into a diffrerent girl.Later in this saga,Son Goku trained with Dewa Karin to defeat Dr. Gero.He meets a cyborg created by Dr. Gero,No.8.But No. 8 is a very kind person.He hided the Dragonball to prevent the Red Ribbon army from killing those villagers.
Piccolo Saga
This saga begins when Son Goku enters The World's Best Martial Art Tournament(Tenkaichi Budokai) again.During this tournament, Son Goku meets Tien Shin Han and Chaozu.The final match is between Son Goku (who win over Kurin) and Tien(who defeated Jacky Chun).Son Goku loses in this great battle,when he hit a van before Tien falled on the road.After this battle,Kurin is murdered.Son Goku starts looking for the killer.Son Goku was defeated by Pikor's son,who murdered Kurin and took the competitors list.He meets Yajorobe and ate his fish.After killed Master Kame and Chaozu,Pikor gets all the Dragonball and wished to the Dragon(Shenlong).He becomes younger and stronger than before.When Piccolo nearly killed Tien,Son Goku saved him and started to fight Piccolo.Both of his legs and one of his arm was injured by Piccolo,but he never gives up and punch Pikor using all of his power.Before Piccolo died,he gaves birth to Young Piccolo.Knowing that,Dewa(Shen)and Popo trains Son Goku.At the next tournament,Son Goku defeated Young Piccolo who injured his legs and his arms.But he didn't kill the Young Piccolo.Later,he married Chi Chi.
