Who are you to tell me how to play Diablo II? Well, I am me *waves* If you want credentials...well...I play too, so I can give you my observations and thoughts: what you do with that is up to you. I do not believe in telling a person how to play: anyone who says you must do this, you must use that, only this item shall do, or whatever is a moron. Yes, it is how they play, but if we all played the same, the game would be a bore: we are all individuals, so we should develop our own individual play-styles. Well, before this develops into "Elric's Rant Page," I feel I should introduce the goods!
Elric's Guide to Cursing It has been my general observation that most people have no idea how to use the Necromancer's Curse Tree properly. If they are not casting Iron Maiden on Oblivion Knights, they are stacking Decrepify and Attract. The aim of this guide is to show you how the individual curses work, and offer some thoughts on them. In the second page, I also offer a general guide to using the Curse-only Necromancer - a style I am quite fond of and, contry to popular opinion, one that can play the game solo.
Elric's Guide to Druid Elemental Skills This rather unpopular tree of spells is actually one I find most enjoyable. In an attempt to share the fun, I have prepared this write-up on how to use the spells properly, and given my opinions on each skill. Note: this is not a guide to making an Elemental Druid - there's no discussion on equipment, stat allocation, or anything like that - it merely discusses the individual spells themselves.
