Blob Applet, preview release

Above is an example of the Image Mapper Applet, this applet is an implementation of the image mapper that requires no server side code, however it does need a JDK 1.1.x compliant browser (IE 4.0 and above and Netscape 4.0.6 and above). There is a tool provided with the applet that can generate the parameters for the applet. The design tool is written to work with Swing so therefore needs the Sun 1.2 Java VM to run. This is really a pre-release, configuration instructions are not fully available, you will need some HTML exprience and experience running Java Applications to configure the Designer tool. Some pointers that didnt make the application help file include, dont forget before moving from one page to another in the design tool to press the Change button otherwise changes are lost, to generate the HTML press the HTML button on the toolbar, to add more regions press the + button, presently the - button does not function.

NOTE: This applet is presently a pre-release, and is (C) by David Cherry (ElriDEV) 1999. You are free to use this applet on your page, for all uses, however ElriDEV provides no warranties. Infact it should be noted that this applet and design tool are not yet complete, and may not be 100% stable, although the applet has had extensive testing the design tool has not, and the documentation is not 100% ready. The documentation will be comming soon.
