and Hi There,

You have either decided to start here and find out something about me before you journey through my pages, or you have already looked around and you are curious to know a few interesting details about the person who has created this website. Whichever the reason, I am delighted that you are here. Welcome!

Now here comes the undeniable truth about Elsinore.

Firstly – Yes, Elsinore is my name, although it is my middle name, it is very distinctive characteristic about me since the only other person I know here on the Island, who share this name with me is my aunt. I live in Barbados, a beautiful island in the Caribbean that is 166 square miles of exotic paradise.

I was born under the sign of Pisces on March 7th, and to use the words of one of my friends. Much in the same way the fish of this horoscope sign swim in opposite directions, much in the same way is my personality. You never know which mood I will be in on any given day. Some days I am in an adventurous mood, willing to throw caution to wind and live totally spontaneously, other days I am quiet and meditative, reflecting philosophically on this spiritual journey called -'Life'. Well I guess it is never a good thing to be too predictable.

Let me say here that I do not pretend as having any extraordinary amount of artistic talent, I certainly would not say that after viewing the amazing graphics I have discovered in my hours of surfing on the WWW. But I do enjoy my share of creative instinct. Although I have created none of the graphics you will see on this site, I would admit to having a great appreciation for no less than the astoundingly beautiful, and have spared no effort in searching to find what I consider to be the best that is offered. I would quickly admit to enjoying reading much of literature’s classics and listening to the music of Beethoven, Mozart, Chopin and others. All this adds great joy to my mind and soul.

In creating this site I wanted to present the Poetry, Verses, Quotations and Music that I love in a spectacular way, that would be an aesthetically pleasing experience for the visitor, I believe that there is so much beauty in the words of the writers featured here, so much so, that they should not sit lifelessly on a stationery page, but should be presented not only for the stimulation of the mind but for the enjoyment of the eye as well.

My nineteen year old daughter and sixteen year old son are perhaps, not overjoyed about the creation of this site, since the phone line is frequently unavailable, but they are the four dogs in my household who approve totally, since they view me as their mother and have taken turns in keeping my company the countless hours I spend working on my PC.

So there it is, the capsule version of ‘About Me’ and I certainly hope you find delight in your visit to my little corner of the web and also I wish that you would enjoy it as much as I enjoy creating Elsinore4u

It has been three years since I ventured on my little web journey and created this site. It turned out to be a great delight to myself and others, since I was able to bring together in one place many beautiful things: solitude, art, and the inspirational words of many authors.

During the coming months, I will attempt to change the graphics on many of the pages, since I have gained much more skill in the three years.

Most of the site was built using geocities page builder. I will now replace those pages with layered backgrounds using the html I have learnt from the good people at Webtech University
